Its a shame really. Ordinary club players are going to need a voice in the GAA going forward.

Honestly, I don't care when the matches are played once we have a definite calendar which players can plan a life around.
I imagine our hurling league matches (played without inter county players if they still in the championship) will be played in April/May/June/July which is grand. Then the week after the All-Ireland the championship starts.
No need to start training in January, get going around this time of year. It might just re-ignite the club scene for me.
