Replying To Saynothing:  "Again with you no thought for others. So people can go to hell in a cart according to you if they have a problem with gambling. Gambling is pushed into the faces of people from teens up. You only have to go to your local shop and the scratch cards are nicely placed at the checkout. To me it does more harm than drink and smoking . It has no place on jerseys or sports events."
Blame someone else... that's always the 'go to' stance of course. You be the first to complain about a 'nanny state' telling us all what to do. The majority of people have no issue with gambling but no in your world let's ban every bit of sponsorship they provide. Funny enough, Crossmaglen had no issue taking a few pound from Bar One racing a few years back.

As some have mentioned already, i think we would all be amazed if we knew the full extent of young GAA people in betting. If you are unsure offer to drive a group of young lads to their next match...

Anyhow, banning the sponsorship is one thing but it wont solve it, its education that needed. Maybe we be better off if effort was put in at club level in education, and if the GPA were fully committed to all players this is where it would start.
