Hegarty, Reid, Morrissey
Kelly, Gleeson, Bennett

They'd have a great balance too, Hegarty and Morrissey could play the same role as with Limerick while the other 4 could rotate seamlessly.

10. Gearoid Hegarty
11. Cian Lynch
12. Tom Morrissey
13. Brian Concannon
14. TJ Reid
15. Tony Kelly

Rationale: TJ played full forward against Dublin and in the second half against Galway. Cian Lynch instead of Stephen Bennett because he got MOTM in Munster Final and was at least 7/10 in all his other games. Stephen Bennett was very good in all games other than AI final.

Canning had a poor year outside of sideline cuts by his standards, I'd even pick Whelan and Concannon ahead of him

Couldnt leave any of these out hence the reason I put Lynch and Kelly midfield. Also, Gillane is behind Gleeson in my opinion and Canning won't even be nominated for an All Star so can't see how anyone is including him.

There's no way that the two Tipp lads, Canning, Mulcahy, Donnelly, Cody or Hogan can be ahead of Donal Burke from Dublin.

I know what your saying to me but I still think Joe Canning played well enough to win an all-star his usual standards are player of the year material.

Player of the year has to be Gearoid Hegarty no argument or debate for me on this. But I can't think of someone to pick for young hurler of the year, no-one u21 stood out for me.

I wouldn't have Morrissey far behind Hegarty for hurler of the year, yeah not many standing out for young hurler of the year, maybe Jake Morris or Eoin Cody.

Well I'd have Canning as Galway's 3rd best forward at best in the recent championship so wouldn't consider him for a national team of the year

Must be the first time in history that the team that wins the All-Ireland fails to get a single player on Team Of The Year.!!
Could you give us your 6 subs.? Surely Hegarty would make the bench.
