There's also the danger that the sky might fall and the world migh end that day. Stay inside and close the blinds just in case. " 11 other posters agree with me on this" so I must be right.

Great to be watching from the distance as we wait on foe the semis. On waterford V Galway, I was thinking is Munster hurling King at the minute? Will there be 2 Munster finalists again. Waterford hit the ground running big time. Had a brilliant array of scores. Galway had a brilliant last 20 but they were a man up. Definitely thought they would be at least a top 4 team this year. I was hoping cork might be gone after today,I'd still be slightly worried about their ability to get goals..I'm waiting to hear that they now draw Dublin in quarter final.. CTGAA10 (Limerick) - Posts: 2547 - 24/07/2021 20:31:36 2363608 Link 0 |
The days of hoping for this team or that team are well and truly gone..only team people are hoping to avoid are limerick and praying someone might knock them out. It is a wonderful place to be and hard earned. Limerick will not give one extra second to the team they might face until its officially decided and then will plan accordingly. I thought the best defensive unit today was actually clare and they just ran out of legs. How kelly missed the last shot will haunt him he had a lot of the goal to shoot at. Cork will gain confidence but there is a fragility to them that they haven't shaken. Waterford were super against a team that were incredibly flat. Its been a long time since I saw such a talented bunch of players in Galway that didn't produce one bit of bite in nearly 50 mins of a knockout championship match. The enigma of Galway continues. They had assembled a squad capable of troubling anyone but they couldn't get it out today. Dublin will not be any walkover next week. They are hugely underrated. If eoghan o donnell can somehow be right for next weekend if gibe them every chance of beating cork or Waterford. If he's not it reduces their chances and highlights the baffling decision to risk him v kk. The championship is in full swing now. daveboy (Limerick) - Posts: 1197 - 24/07/2021 21:29:43 2363647 Link 0 |
I suppose the Dubs had a few out due to COVID the last day out too which would weaken any team. Of the 4 playing next week I think Waterford have serious momentum and will drive on. Mads (Limerick) - Posts: 371 - 24/07/2021 22:54:03 2363690 Link 0 |
Fully agree with you. Especially with Dan in FB. O'Donnell is a top rate & FB and I would give the dubs every chance in the 1/4 finals if he's fit. Let's hope he is. He only had 3 min against KK so I hope he pulled up early enough. Pleasure to watch him master the art of FB.

Good Jesus. What is wrong with you? Don't get enough hassle in life you have to go on line looking for some agro.

No hassle here other than what you might suggest. You/ he and your cronies just need to be called every once in a while to keep you to keep you from going viral with the bs. Nice attempt at trying to divert/deflect. Are you part of that fictitious 11 (2 or 3) who agrees with him. Good day to get out and get som sunshine and fresh air while it lasts, or maybe visit a British war memorial with Bloody… he can fully explain this seeming tangent.. I probably have it in archive also ..) Have a blessed day, whatever you decide..the air is free. PatOLogical (Limerick) - Posts: 1377 - 25/07/2021 16:53:43 2363923 Link 0 |
Cian Lynch is an all round athlete too, covers more ground than anyone else effortlessly and with all his skill and talent is one of the most unselfish players you will see, plays the game at a different level to most IMO, always looking ahead for an opening or someone to lay off to.

Fitzy01 I'd put Cian up there.hes already a top hurler in the country..everyone knows about his soccer abilities..he played in the pro am in Lahinch before the Irish open..I always get the feeling from watching him that he could turn his hand to anything and be very very good st it.. Ah he's got all the skills and touch and decision making.. probably lacks that break neck speed that a Kyle Hayes has and the power. bloodyban (Limerick) - Posts: 1710 - 25/07/2021 20:22:06 2364050 Link 1 |
On behalf of Limerick GAA people everywhere thank you so much for calling those out who need to be called out. Where would we all be without your attempts to dismiss the views of those who don't 100% concur with your own. Mind you beyond continuously looking for arguments it's not easy to ascertain what views you hold tbh. I'm pretty sure I speak for more than a few when I suggest you could take a break fir a while albeit the service you provide is so valuable

Everyone let's go back to the hurling, we've gotten to our 4th semi final in a row thanks to this unbelievable bunch of lads. It Cork V Dublin and Waterford V Tipp. Mads (Limerick) - Posts: 371 - 26/07/2021 10:14:31 2364186 Link 1 |
Either way it'll be very hard on any of the winners of the quarter finals to be out 3 weeks in a row and facing a fresh Kk or Lk team

Thank you Welpastit for reminding me why I enjoy this forum so much where self-anointed sages and prophets can come on and even claim "the world agrees with me". And even have 2 or 3 chronies (Or who knows, same poster with multiple "handles" ) and then attempt to cement your pulp fiction with a follow up that says "11 others agree with me" yet they can't be traced. I'm not looking for an argument, but I am very curious as to how you purport to speak of "On behalf of Limerick GAA people everywhere", or you are "pretty sure you speak for more than a few". All spoken under the comfy cloak of anonymity where the mouse can come out and play. Pray tell have you come upon this divine revelation, via a visit from our Lady of Knock or Ballinspittle on the way home from the pub. Tally -ho and Hail to the Queen! (Those who know, know what is meant here.) PS -i'm happy to ignore as long as I don't hear this nonsense from the redeemers like you. I reserve the right (in anonymity highlight it for attention-seeking bs that is is. Haven't been on here for ages so no idea where that bit could mes from. That's mostly because I grew tired of your attempts to as you refer to it call people out. Def don't have nor seek "cronies" My "on behalf" comment was obvious sarcasm designed to highlight the absurdity of your needing to call people out comment. As for more than a few just check the number of likes. Maybe just maybe before you introduced confrontation this was simply a forum where hurling people simply exchanged views. Maybe just maybe no one deserves to be called out for their views and maybe just maybe that exchange of views should be allowed without those who offer their views being policed by others. Just a few thoughts. Maybe at the highest point in our hurling history this forum should be about enjoying the exploits of our team and posters being entitled to a little courtesy. Not sure if you transferring a rage from experiences on other media outlets but I for one have had it up to my back teeth posters being attacked and " called out". Maybe Twitter or Facebook are more suitable outlets for the conflict you seek and/or create

Best to simply ignore posts from that person . For some reason he seems to enjoy winding people up which is sad really . Alot of good hurling folk with a variety of interesting opinions over the years have left due to his condescending and mocking posts . As the saying goes about fellas like him " Scientists say the world is made of protons , neutrons and electrons . But they forgot to mention morons "
