Another Question For Dubs

The OP asks to be honest so here it goes, I didnt enjoy this one quite as much (and I understand that is an incredibly ridiculous opinion to hold for the majority reading and comes across as spoilt but let me finish....). I didnt enjoy it as much simply because I wasnt there. I go to all the games so to be sharing this win with nobody I usually spend it with was of course different and a bit less enjoyable. But I'm absolutely made up for the lads and hopefully if we make it 7 I'll be able to see it in the flesh.

Sure that's only natural Waynol. I'm sure that's the same for most. Even the whole championship was dour at times but at the same time glad it was on as it gave us something to look forward to every week. The lack of fans take from it too but as the saying goes you can't beat being there. However Id have taken the win with both hands so enjoy my friend and hopefully we will all be able to attend again next year.

Replying To CiarraiMick:  "Just making the point User that some posters saying dubs are heroes for cleaning dressing room but it's was publicised by video footage. Other teams clean up and not a word about it. I applaud them and think it's good but in defeat it has to be respected too maybe even more so. Balance to the statement that's all.On Cian Ó Sullivan he was the ultimate sweeper and maybe that's where Cluxton got the cleanings skills from. Cian comes from great stock."
Was just having a laugh Mick, just found it funny is all, fair play.

No media talk?

Sure what's the point in being humble if you're not going to be lauded for it afterwards?

Replying To realdub:  "Yes I would say you're right RD, the defeats in the 00s and 90s hurt but I think the older you get the less emotional involvement, too many more important distractions in life!
Watching the game on Saturday I found myself with little or no nerves at the throw in.
But having said that, this years championship didn't feel like one at all."
I agree with that. This years just didn't seem right in the current circumstances. Yeah it was a hour or two away from Covid reality. Perhaps it is that we are just pushing on in years that football seems less important than the be all it once did.
Anyway congrats again and happy Christmas to you and yours. And indeed everyone.
