Replying To Newyorkkat:  "Yes you are correct, taking away the big 3, lenister teams have won more all Ireland's that munster and that is not including Galway. Enjoy the game tomorrow, I will be hoping for a Waterford win, but I do not think that is going to happen."
What kind of a statement is that! How old are you?

I've been leaning towards Waterford since the semi finals as I just feel limerick limped over the line against a Galway team who made a huge number of errors mostly unforced on the day. Waterfords first half was not brilliant either however. I think Waterford's half back line and midfield is in much greater form than Galways was abs should hold limerick better. Jamie Barron is a magician also!
Hutchison has a decent munster final but his touch wasn't as sharp as it could have been and he could have went to town that day. I'd expect Dan Morrissey to get his first proper test from Gleeson and Bennett who i see rotating. Waterford will need to draw Hannon out though.
Having said all that, I'm going to go for a draw and another final to look forward to in a week or two!

Replying To Oldtourman:  "Well it wont be more this evening- it will be the same and I have to say that the lack of under age success in Dublin. Offaly and Wexford is deeply concerning. Even when Limerick lost to Galway, Offaly and Wexford we were not begrudging of them, although disappointed. The deterioration of Offaly and the failure of Dublin to win an Ireland in living memory, even after having good minor and under 21 squads, is very serious. The Big Three might regard winning a national title at what we might call second levels as of little importance, but when counties are down a long time it keeps the flame aglow. After an atrocious beating to Tipp in 2009 and a subsequent strike I will never forget how people celebrated beating Cork after extra time in an epic U21 Final in 2011. It simply gave us a bit of hope, when Limerick badly needed it. Cork won their last League and U 21 Title in 98 and their last Minor title in 2001 and maybe that is why they are unusually struggling at senior level."
Cork seem to be getting their act together at u14, u16 and schools level the last few years and will be back in senior finals in the not too distant future. Limerick have provided great hope for all the so called smaller counties that with proper joined up thinking at underage level senior success can follow. Alot of effort has been put in in Wexford to try do the same. A new 5 year plan will be starting next year and in fairness to Derek Kent and the board the county finances seem to be sorted out properly so money for the Centre of Excellence, including a 4g pitch, and maybe some coaching courses for the many enthusiastic underage coaches can be afforded also. I'm not sure about the stat which province has won the most all Irelands excluding the big 3 but I'd guess if you add in Laois, Dublin, and Kerry its 17-15 to Leinster currently and will be 17-16 later today. Can't believe I bothered posting such a meaningless stat and really looking forward to the latest all Munster final!!

Came back after giving up on this site to see if there was any good chat about the match.
But just the usual bickering and trolling I see

A lot of rain overnight and this morning in the Dublin area, has eased off now and brightening up a little, very little breeze so that shouldn't be a factor in the match,Hopefull there won't be too many showers during the game.
Best of luck to our Limerick heroes, they have done us proud so far and I wish Waterford well too. Both counties have not enough rewards to show for their contribution to the great game of hurling.Hope it's a wonderful game despite the conditions and the time of year.
And best of luck to Kerry and Antrim too, will be watching that one also.

The most enjoyable chats on hurling that I have listened to recently is Dalo's Hurling Show. There's too much provincial and parochial navel-gazing on here.

Near half time and not looking good for the Decies men. They need a couple of goals to get back into this match. And don't look like getting them. Anyway good luck to them.

Great saves but both of them straight at the keeper.

Limerick are a machine, unbelievable, Limerick frees are keeping Waterford in game. But exciting finish on cards if Waterford can close that gap, but big if.
