On What Grounds?

Just wondering on what grounds YET ANOTHER Dublin player got a ban overturned ? It was fairly easy to lip read and it was inexcusable considering it was over a line ball and the game was in the bag. I dunno why officials bother.

You have to admire the sheer amount of passwords that have to be remembered.

........ that from a particular angle and in a certain light the official looked like M Deegan thus extreme mitigation applied.

It's the one thing that has let down this Dublin group and will always be mentioned when people talk about their greatness. Connolly putting hands on the linesman, John Smalls red card and now Costello. A black mark for sure.

Ah now in fairness Dayton a that's not going to tamper with Dublin's legacy as a great team. All teams have and had players that will step over the line at times.

Even the ref didnt know why he gave the red card! other than backing up his linesman. But like Connolly before, Linesmen clearly have nothing to do in a game other than create some needless headlines.

Cut and dry outcome. .

The CCC took Costello's word over that of the linesman.

Worrying? Yes.

Surprising? No.

Is it reasonable to assume that you don't know what Costello stated to the CCC, you don't know what the linesman or referee said to the CCC and still you fabricate a statement about the CCC taking Costello's word over that of the linesman. Don't be making up stories and then worrying about them, bad strategy.
Another genius on here telling us he could lipread what Costello said and to who? A load of bull****

Well we can assume now that the GAA and CCC believe its ok to verbally abuse a match official.

No more than myself you have no idea what was in the Referee's report, but you are good on the "assumptions".

Unless you are from a small county , in which case you will be made an example of as a warning to others.
