Replying To royaldunne:  "I think it was only two posters who said it, anyone else didn't have the slightest problem with it, but that's their opinions, I wouldn't agree but they entitled to them, it's a forum of differing opinions. They don't have to apologise in my view."
I didn't ask for an apology RD

I asked them to retract what they said based on their assertions being proved completely wrong given that the exact same ceremony was conducted by the Tipp players as part of an official GAA ceremony

They strongly asserted it was about something else.

If your opinion is wrong you should be man enough to retract it.

Crinigan even went as far to say

"He stood over his comments"

Even though they have since proven to be completely debunked.

Well I don't agree with them. But sure what can u do ? Move on accept that both were nice gestures. Can't please everyone
