Difficult to see past Dublin and Kerry strolling into the semi-finals with little difficulty.

It'll depend on how intact the Connacht and Ulster champions are by the semi-final. If one, or both, have a full deck to pick from then the harder route to the semi finals could have then primed to take down two teams that won't have faced a serious championship game of football in 15 months!

It's very hard to predict though.

In hurling, you could make a strong case for any of the usual suspects really but reckon it'll come down to one from Tipp, Limerick or Wexford, maybe Galway too.

Dublin and Kerry are the most likely as they seem to be a lot better than the rest, but if there was to be a shock result (that's one or both of those teams getting beaten in semifinals) then you'd be looking at Donegal or Galway to spring the surprise though I doubt either of those would close the deal and win it outright.
But in the cold light of day it should be a repeat of last year final.

Agree apart from Waterford to win Munster Hurling and they will be very serious contenders for outright honours.

I agree with all of these. Dublin are still definitely the best team in football but I feel they have to lose at some stage and this weird year will be when it happens

Im not a hurling man but for the football

Ulster: Donegal
Leinster: Dublin
Munster: Kerry
Connacht: Galway

All Ireland Winners: Dublin over Kerry (Would not be surprised if Galway make the final however)

Can't see past Dublin unless they have a bit of an injury meltdown. Losing McCaffery is a blow but I still think they have enough.

I think Dublin will surprise a few this year and not be as strong as Jim Gavins Dublin, personally in the first year of a new manager id be happy with a semi final berth.

Really like the look of Galway and i think out of everyone they have the most headroom, id tip them to take Kerry in a semi.

I think people underestimate Tyrone a lot. Quitely going about their business and turning over Dublin and Kerry this year already, they were robbed in the semi last year by a poor reffing performence and i think they are the most adept team at winter ball and certainly wouldnt look forward with confidence to playing them in a semi - should we get that far. That and Cathal McShane could be back. I think this is going to be a gritty championship and Tyrone do that better then most.

I quite fancy a sneaky score on an unfancied final this year of Galway and Tyrone and that would be tight. Id nearly go for Tyrone given the context, of PJ's first year, winter ball and experience they have built up.

Hopefully the Dubs prove me wrong though and we will be the bookies favorites of course. Just my take. ;)

what County Teams are back training now. Some are and what action should be taken by Central Council , they should be thrown out of all Competitions. A level playing field is needed for all teams, not just money talking.

When there is a level playing pitch , them we can predict the winners in fairness

I am predicting a Wexford v Limerick hurling final.

Two big seriously fit physical teams made for winter hurling.

Wexford to repeat 1996 and bring Liam back to Slaneyside!!

Davy to then leave and join the monks!

So you don't fancy dublin getting to the final coz it's Dessies first year in charge but you fancy Galway to get to the final eventhough it's Joyce's first year in charge as well?

Jay's Peter Keane must be a total football genius to get Kerry to the allireland final last year so and to end up getting a draw in it as well.

To paraphrase Gary Lineker: Football is a simple game. Thirty men chase a ball for 70 minutes and at the end, the Dubs always win.

To be fair, User did say Tyrone "were robbed in the semi last year by a poor reffing performance"
