Along the lines of what I expected and I think the contact training date will be brought forward, debatable if we needed semi finals this year and if we didn't the finals could be played a week earlier. Looks like no club leagues this year.

Looking forward to the draw at the end of this month, hopefully it throws up some spicy groups and all going well all games are played without any disruptions.

Debatable if we needed semi finals? What sorta format would you play? 3 group winners in a free for all in the county final?

What's with all the transfer rumours. Conor Cox to Gaels or Eire Og. Some other Kerry player who was on the same Kerry junior team as Cox going to Pearses.

Ah it's great to have the silly season back!!!

If Conor Cox joins eire og then fair play to him. Used to hate playing them but will be brilliant for a small club. They would have a real shot of winning the intermediate championship

I believe its as good as done with him joining Eire Og. Roscommon Gaels made a late push for him over the weekend and at one stage it looked like they had him but he changed his mind again and decided to stick with his decision to join Eire Og.
Would have rathered seeing him join a senior club myself, it would be better for him and Roscommon in the long run so hopefully they have a shot like you say and he gets to that level with Eire Og.

I completely see your point in relation to him joining a senior club but I have to say that he has gone with his heart and I think he has just endeared himself to every GAA fan in Roscommon. I am not from Eire Og but I can honestly say I would love to see Eire Og win the intermediate championship this year, what a story it would be. A top young man and I really hope he gets some terrific memories out of this.

Was there an extension on transfers or something as transfer deadlines is well past?

As far as i remember Philip Greene only transferred to Clann last August before the Championship started so not sure if the deadline is still in place. Cathal Duignan was similar timeframe

His a good footballer not the messiah they won't feature in intermediate last 4.
His a great addition to any club and all the best to him but there lacking in depth.

Bit harsh. Like who will finish in last 4? Who are potential winners?

Strength in depth not helped with losing their best defender and former county underage player Denis Barron.
