Would anyone know if and where any club players who live in Dublin but return home to play for their respective club at the weekend are training in Dublin during the week. I belong to a club back in Armagh and return back home for matches at the weekend but looking to train in Dublin during the week. shanenug (Armagh) - Posts: 2 - 24/02/2020 19:37:58 2269855 Link 1 |
There used to be sessions up in civil service grounds ,a lot of country players would join together and organise a coach, well worth a look at hipster (Dublin) - Posts: 2509 - 24/02/2020 19:50:17 2269858 Link 2 |
Contact any of the clubs around where you're living. Most teams would have no problem adding an extra body to training. Good way to get to know people in your new area too. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13693 - 24/02/2020 22:15:21 2269907 Link 5 |
Just try a few of the clubs around ye. When I lived in Dublin I trained with a local club during the week, no issues at all and currently we have a number of Dublin based players in our club and have organised for them to train with a Dublin club. tearintom (Wexford) - Posts: 1304 - 24/02/2020 22:44:32 2269917 Link 2 |
A group meet up in Abbottstown on Wednesday nights from 8-9. It's open to anyone, I think it could be 10 euro.

Best bet is get into contact with nearest club. Majority of Dublin clubs have no problem with anyone joining in on their training during the week and are very accommodating as long as you are registered with your club back hom.
