Jimbob and the other true blues have gone very quiet. The media coverage of the historic and still flawed 5 in a row was very little do the scripts writers know something we don't know yet regarding goings on at Dublin County board in relation to professionalism I know of one prominent sports reporter who is making disscreat enquiries but is meeting a brick wall at the moment but he is not willing to give up as he strongly feels there is a big coup to be had sooner or later

Trying to claim the 5 in a row is flawed is sour grapes and rather childish. As for the professional claims. There most certainly is elements of shamatuerism across country and that includes your own county. But there is no pros playing the sport

Oh I love how bitter Kerry are over the 5 in a row.

And the Brazilian will find nothing.....just like the meals delivered to their houses was bull etc. he will find that nearly all that background team are doing it for free and most don't even claim expenses. Dublin's costs are lower than many counties for this reason.

Dublin make a lot of money commercially but has anyone actual analsysed how much it costs to run the GAA in Dublin, right down to the juvenile leagues??

Till Kerry simply accept that Dublin are the better team, strive to be better and stop making excuses they will not beat us.

You are right about that. No pros playing the game but lots of pros doing well on the back of players.
Dublin have 5 in a row because they are the best team and guess what they won them. If there are resources that has helped them not available to everyone else complain about it. This Kerry bull on here has become boring. If the perceived advantage they feel Dublin have , do they want that for all counties or just Kerry ? I think that answer is easy based on the waffle we see.

Cathal mcshane is another typical example tryrone could not afford to keep the lad where only one county in Ireland could. Good luck to the lad but if was born in that one other county he would not be going to Australia. They would give him 200.000 no prom plus all the add ons that the lads in the other top football counties get. Car.. Expenses. Etc. If that is not called professional what is

There doesn't seem to be an appetite for it unfortunately. Would love to see the introduction of the mute button :)

This seems to moot given the way that the thread has gone, but introducing centralised sponsorship, shared equally among the 32 county boards, might help iron out some of the financial inequalities that exist.
