lol, AOS wouldnt lace Fentons boots. Wins a few throw ins and turnovers and the hype machine cranks up. Fenton can do everything.

Easiest line by a mile to pick,
Fenton & Moran
That will also be the midfield on any 'team of the decade'

...honourable mention to Gary Brennan, the 3rd best midfielder in the country.
If he was from a top 6 county he would have numerous allstars by now

And also to Brendan Murphy of Carlow. He and Gary Brennan have been constantly playing some savage stuff over quite a few years now! As a Limk man, I know their plight when it comes to getting any high recognition for it, as over the years we have had some mighty midfielders: more recently John Galvin; Galvin overlapped for a while with John Quane (Munster Hall Of Fame, after he retired), when we'd probably our best spell ever; Paddy Barrett (selected on the International Series to play Australia); and to me, the most complete footballer I've ever seen, Donal Fitzgibbon. For Fitzgibbon, just imagine a Maurice Fitzgerald with aggression and an engine, or a super fit, fast Sean Quigley from Fermanagh. Playing full-forward one day for Munster, with good supply coming in from Cork and Kerry lads, he rampaged 3-4 from play, and laid off so many other scores.

Some of the Dublin posters may be aware of who Fitzgibbon is. He played club up there for years, either Parnells or Civil Service (perhaps even both).

Also a mention for Bryan Menton of Meath who was the highest scoring midfielder in the 2019 championship with 3-9 all from play (one point ahead of Brian Fenton). He scored in all 8 championship matches which included matches against Dublin, Kerry, Mayo and Donegal.

Brendan Murphy hasnt played championship football for two years now. He's no longer up there with the best.

Fenton and Moran. Certain All Stars.

Can I ask a question without getting choke slammed here, What has Brian Fenton done this year to be up for an all star? He had no stand out performances in the league he had a good Leinster but you'd expect that as Leinster is poor ( no offence to the Leinster counties as its not there fault ) he did nothing spectacular in the S8s he had a good second half against a tired Mayo in the semifinal and was kept very quite by jack Barry in the two finals. Again I'm not trying to upset anyone just looking for a debate on this .

Probably didnt have his best year but who was better in the midfield roll this year. Moran was excellent in some games poor in others but the two of them were a good bit better than any other midfielder this year

Better than moran overall in the 2 finals...amazed how morans performance at the end of the drawn game and throughout the replay have not been questioned more...thought he had a very poor replay in particular..very similar to 2015 when he was in the POTY conversation but when it came to the big one had a poor game..as I said before moran blows hot and cold think he gets far more credit than he deserves. As a senior player in the replay was very poor...3 bad wides, at fault for the goal..lumping in high hopeful balls into the forward line..think he is overrated.

O'Shea?

Mother of God. It's 2019. That Emperor's New Clothes was pointed at many years back.

i agree. No contest really.

People said AOS and to be fair he was good in some games but he was really poor in a few as well.
