I'll vote for Murphy. Rowland might get the All Star. I thought Hogan let in 2 quite soft goals against Wexford in the SF.

Fanning had a good season but for me Eoin Murphy is goalkeeper of the year!

Eoin Murphy for me, I think he'll be disappointed with the first goal against Tipp in terms of his positioning but the save he made when Cork were on top in the first half and again against Limerick in the dying moments of the semi final were crucial.

For me I'm not sure how Murphy gets it. Something like 8 goals in 3 games compared to the likes of fanning who hardly conceded. Murphy is an unreal keeper but his year started late and it wasn't his best one. Personally I'm not sure he will be nominated

Agree, a goalkeeper is now a shot-stopper, and a quarterback.
Fanning had a good year and his penalty in the Leinster Final was great, but if I was picking a player to pick in the goal the Glenmore man would get the nod.
I will fight any man who says Liam Ryan was not the best full back in the country this year.

Agree he didn't really have a good year especially by his standard but to be fair he probably didn't get the protection either. Was lucky not to have been sent off in round robin for his lunge on Rory O'Connor.

I think you fail to understand that the goalkeeper is not solely responsible for the amount of goals conceded. Comparing keepers on goals let in alone is ridiculous.

No.It's certainly one of the criteria to be considered though.Goals conceded.Particularly if a goal went in that should have been saved.Eoin Murphy has set high standards.Doubt he considers himself that 2019 was one of his best seasons.I thought Brian Hogan was vulnerable in goals for Tipp but Kilkenny didn't trouble him in the Final.Give the all-star to Mark Fanning-the Wexford man deserves it.
