Whatever happens on Sunday Pat Gilroy should be remembered for setting this train in motion. I was in Croke Park in 2009 when Kerry humiliated them in a quarter final and again in 2011 when Dublin recorded their first championship win over Kerry in decades. I think he did so much to change the mindset internally but also externally on how others saw Dublin. He put steel into them and banished the soft touch image.

Obviously the players themselves and Gavin took it to new levels in the meantime.
