That looks about right. Will be interesting to see what Harte and Gavin do in Omagh. I think both teams will make a lot of changes and the Dubs will probably edge what will be a dull enough game. Tyrone will not go for it - no way. OGarmaile (Tyrone) - Posts: 248 - 22/07/2019 10:40:06 2214548 Link 2 |
As the games are on the same time for each group, there is no reason to factor in tv clash. Therefore they could have had one set of games at 5pm Saturday and one at 7pm Saturday. Then the Hurling semi finals as a double header in croker on Sunday. Gives two weeks for all teams to prepare for semi final. BaldyBadger (Cork) - Posts: 313 - 22/07/2019 12:02:36 2214622 Link 0 |
It's a disgrace it's a week of a gap. IamDonegal (Donegal) - Posts: 134 - 22/07/2019 12:13:38 2214626 Link 7 |
Wouldn't be predicting anything as it goes, Tyrone are the team im most weary off in the championship to be honest, so i wouldn't be confidently predicting a Dublin win in Omagh. TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 4515 - 22/07/2019 12:19:14 2214630 Link 3 |
Absolutely i actually googled Croke Park seating plan yesterday as i was bringing my baby daughter and one of the first results stated Croke Park home of Dublin GAA ... you couldnt make it up.

That's generally what happens when you don't read things properly and can't wait to get onto Hogan Stand to criticise.

As far as I'm aware the Saturday semi final will be the winner of group 1 and Ru of 2 which will prob be Kerry v Tyrone and that only gives Tyrone 6 days and the Sunday will prob be Dublin v mayo/Donegal

Kids are still a fiver and the hill is €35. I agree that it's unfair charging €55. That should be €45 but the GAA need to make up for the dropping attendances so they can keep funding, you know who. Jack_Goff (Meath) - Posts: 2920 - 22/07/2019 14:07:43 2214713 Link 7 |

You're right, you couldn't make it up. Another Kerry man rushing in to have a go at Dublin having hoped that he read something that in fact he hadn't. Bit like Kingdomboy yesterday. Worry about your own county lads and we'll worry about ours.

I wouldnt go using a simple mistake on my part as an example of all the other well documented issues with Dublin,Croke Park and the GAA not being accurate there joxer. Anyway your a soccer man id say your more concerned with Bohs or rovers than GAA. westkerry (Kerry) - Posts: 1250 - 22/07/2019 16:59:47 2214835 Link 3 |
Well it's no secret on here that I am a Bohs man. You read my recent post, remember? I treasure my love for Bohs and the Dubs equally. It's good to be passionate about more than one sport.

Glad to be in the AI semi finals ,after being written off against Donegal still not getting the credit for reaching the last 4 even though highest scorers in the championship , Both Dublin and Tyrone will have the luxury of knowing who they'll face or who they would like to face , Kerry should have to much for Meath Mayo v Donegal going to be very interesting Mayo never know when to lie down like Rocky Balboa they always get back off the canvas one more time, but are Donegal the Apollo Creed ??? fortyfive (Tyrone) - Posts: 5929 - 22/07/2019 21:01:59 2214968 Link 0 |
There was always going to be a chance for Mayo to remain in contention after their 1st group match because of the way the fixtures favoured them. If they had been playing Donegal in Round 2 instead of Meath they would have been beaten and out of the Championship. At the start of the Group campaign I fancied Mayo at home v Donegal but after watching both Mayo and Donegal over the weekend, its Donegal to win for me! katser (Galway) - Posts: 2554 - 22/07/2019 21:34:09 2214983 Link 0 |
