Offfffffft....There was as many rubbish games then as there is now....maybe even more. As for own county? I grew up in the 90's.....we were awful. Down in 91 Donegal 92 Derry 93 Down 1994 Tyrone 1995 ( unlucky) They were great years ( 92 ulster final was a mess) You mentioned ulster football not Monaghan. Our own county were involved in 2 of the best games last year v Kerry (Super 8) and V Tyrone (Ulster Championship). Aye we got beat by Longford, Fermanagh and Down but so what? Teams lose sometimes. Great attacking and shooting from distance." You forgot to say we were beaten by a poor Fermanagh team after that. 15000 at the Tyrone and 10000 people at the Fermanagh match. Have you not noticed we tend to beat one good team and then fade away. The Tyrone game was good but one sallow does not make a summer I was at the match last year.
