Looking forward to seeing it , we might get bate tomorrow night but we'll look good doing it.

I hope fitz doesn't put enright on Andy tomorrow night."
If he does, you can throw your hat to this year Kingdomboy, a man who learns nothing is more dangerous than a fool.

I'd be interested to see Foley up against Moran. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be able for him, but then again we don't see what is happening in training. Enright is still a very decent back in my view but we desperately need somebody else to stand up in that line. Foley or maybe even Morley when he gets back may be the answer.

Ya Gerry I'd be thinking foley my self as he'd have the pace and he's a tight marker, enright is a good back but I couldn't watch that horror show again, in fairness this is a free shot in away to try a couple of the young lads on Moran and see if any of them can match him.

And ya the hermit, if fitzmaurice hasn't learned by now he'll never learn.

Posted this during the week; So Murphy, Shanahan, Foley, Enright, O'Beagleacht, Crowley, Murphy, Barry Sull & Jack Barry, Burns, O'Se, O'Brien, Killian Spillane, Geaney, Clifford.

I was only one player out BJ Keane retained where I had Killian - really really happy with this side and yes with regard to the above would leave Foley on Moran - O'Beagleacht too massive addition .... big step up too for the UCD boys Barry Sull and Jack Barry this will test the mettle...... really looking forward to it

As good a side as we can put out, bar seeing BJK getting game time when others could be tried.
I'd also like to see Casey get a start in the half forwards in the next game or two.

All in all good that his sticking with the young crew, lets hope they can go out tomorrow evening and give Mayo a right good rattle!

And yeah Gerry, Enright is a fine defender and I wouldn't be blaming him for what happened the last two times these teams clashed. It's the sideline that have the questions to answer.

Horse can you see o'beaglaoih and Shanahan swapping positions?

Ya I'm happy with that side although like you horse I'd rather have had killian Spillane in for BJK.

And well done on your team prediction bud.

Oh god ya for me O'Beagleacht will be at 5 and Shanahan will be at 2 - ya I feel Keane is a backward step point in case was last weekend inside the man ball in hand and the better option was on the right shoulder and what does he do split second decision but again the selfish option he ignores Foley on the run and blazes high and wide to he right if he popped the pass certain goal and not only kill the game but give a new comer a savage and invaluable confidence boost - that split second selfish decision had at least three negative outcomes.... flip that with Clifford winning the ball 6 yards out could have scored but saw O'Brien on the shoulder so simple pop pass and tap in goal.... that's the difference vision unselfishness and team player.... Keane does not have that... that's why Killian would have been in there in my opinion or or Steven in the corner and O'Seanachian on the wing... ya I'll plump for him as much as you did for Maher at 6..... no seriously I'd have Daithi as an option instead of Keane.. all joking aside... Darren, Keane, Buckley, Walsh, Maher, Moran... thanks but you'll have to buy tickets to see Kerry from now on... if I'd my way..... love the team though a sneaky feeling if we shore the defense we could sneak two points - much check the odds on a Tyrone/Kerry double.... have a gut feeling that Tyrone will rattle the Dubs in Omagh but missing Colm Cavanagh maybe not....actually speaking of bets.. the odds on more than 2 red cards in Omagh...

Haha I'd say it'd be a safe bet that they'll be 2 reds in omagh horse, we might have a few in castlebar like we had in Tralee last year, I think Mayo will be too physical for us but if we can put on a good show and we walk out of Mchale park knowing a little more about our young fellas then it'll be all well and good , our young lads will get a great test against a very strong Mayo side and that can only be good come summertime.

As for BJK and Clifford and the difference between the two for me, and those two series's of play that you described is a great example of two players one a decent footballer out for himself and the other a brilliant footballer and team player with a football brain .

The great player will bring other players into the game the like of gooch and star and Declan and Paul Galvin the other guys we can do without.

And I hope fitz gives daithi Casey a proper try and o'seanachain and killian and o'conicuir as well.

One more thing Maher for center back :-)

Wouldn't back us for this game but it's so refreshing to see that teamsheet all the same. You'd accept a defeat once we make it a proper contest.

Yerra we got there in the end, just, the discipline would need to improve. Ah sure we'll worry about that another day, some sporting drama today. Happy man tonight, Hon D Kingdom

Lads am I the only one who thought the ref took his time in giving us frees? Our discipline has been called into question again. Great to see Paul Geaney stepping up to the plate again with some vital scores.

Great stuff from our young lads, serious mettle shown at the end when down to 13. We should have won by more tbh but the 2 points is very welcome, with some great performances right throughout the team. There should be savage competition for places when everyone is back.

It should be noted that it was very much a second string Mayo that were miles off the pace. They missed a few very easy frees as well. Kerry were much quicker and sharper and clearly had more work done. We still had to go up there and get the win though. Well done to all involved.

I thought we'd be battling relegation this year but we should be ok now with four points in the bag already

Aidan you'd expect the home team to get a a few home town decisions any time your away from home so I wouldn't be too worried although Aidan o'Shea seems to be infallible and can do no wrong in refs eyes you could say the same about cillian O'Connor.

Ya our discipline wasn't great last night but it was a niggly game and our young bucks had to lay down a marker after our established players were bullied off the park last August.

Paul geaney is our main man now and was brilliant again last night, it was a pity daithi Casey didn't get a run as he was brilliant last week and he must be frustrated today.
It was great to see Brendan oSullivan and eanna o'conicuir make a big impact from the bench as did all the subs bar jack savage.

Ya Gerry if we can pick up 2 wins from the last 5 game we should be safe , if you had told me we'd have got 4 points from the first 3 games against Donegal mayo and Monaghan I'd have been delighted.

Now next weeks game will be a different story as we'll have a load of the young fellas in sigurson action during the week plus a long treck to Monaghan on Saturday so it'l Be tough to get anything from that game plus Monaghan have been back training since October and have played makenna cup so they'll be flying but that'll be great for our young bucks as they'll learn more from a hard game like that than 20 training sessions.

I'd say our older players who took a winter break are going to be worried now which is a good thing coz they should be.
