Yeah, I think I've 4 or 5 away jersey's, the older ones are the gym gear at this stage!

They were handy to ware at matches during the winter over a couple of jackets though :-) in fairness they must have been made in America the sizes were so skewed.

Hah, sure remember Gooch when he came on the scene, you could barely see him as that jersey was like a blanket was so big.
It's probably the reason my one still fits me, and there I was thinking I was more or less the same weight as when I was 17 :(

Unfortunately I can't because of a family thing that's on Saturday night. Hoping to head up to Monaghan instead. Would have preferred going to Castlebar and making a weekend of it, I'd say hotels up there would have been reasonable this time of year, but sure what can you do.

I assume most of pubs in Tralee have that Eir sport at this stage??

Yeah it will be a good day of sport, always loved the Six Nations. Of course the rugby boys are world betters 2 days out, come Saturday if they lose they'll be a bunch of has-beens! Would be wary of France, despite all the Irish media hype.

Ah god no couldn't do that I could never watch a Kerry game in a pub - no peace and every bar stool expert would have a halfa arsed opinion - if I couldn't make a Kerry game i would watch at home or if it was on eir I'd go to a like minded souls house bring him a few tins and watch there - luckily as I have the broadband with eircom the package includes the sports for free so what I do is have kerry radio on online which is about 12 seconds behind reality - pause the live game for about 9 seconds and the two would be in sync -eir pictures Ambrose timmy and billy Shea for commentary - usually sync it during the national anthem

What are the thoughts on Michael Lester's replacement - I was hoping Dara O'Cinneide would get it think he is a savage loss to the TV really loved Seo Sport one of the best programs on the box that was - what was TG4 thinking scrapping it

Ya Dara would have been the best person for the job by a country mile horse but Ifair play to Cantrell , did she get it coz she's a woman I don't know , was it coz she's from Dublin I don't know that either , all I do know is Dara is a brilliant presenter and was excellent on seo spoirt.

I miss that show.

Ya Seo Sport had the perfect mix of sport even though concentration was on their gaa but it also got the perfect mix of serious discussion vs the schools shot 1vs1 comp as well as the what happened next slot as well as Gemma and the player interview - the interaction too or the report between Dara and his guest plus Sean ban in just though it was an excellently produced and presented programme and something that RTE could do well to copy.

I actually thoughave Dessie would step up and a new presenter would take the evening slot but glad that didn't happen - I suppose having Dara presenting as well as Spillane Gooch and Tomas would be too.much for any gaa fan not from Kerry

Yeah normally I'd hate watching Kerry games in pubs, you miss so much when your in a public place like that but don't have much choice tomorrow.

And yes, agree with both of you lads about the Sunday Game and Dara. I'd have bumped into him over the years and not only is he a great guy, but he is a brilliant presenter and talker and he has a wonderful way with Irish.
He would have been fantastic and like yourselves I can't understand why TG4 got rid of Seo Sport and also why RTE don't have him on as the face of their GAA coverage. Then again he has a very young family, he has his column with the Examiner and he's radio work so maybe his hands are full these times.

Joanne Cantwell is very good in fairness, but I think with Des already there it's too many Dubs for me.

Ya the hermit it looks like the dubs are strategically moving their pieces into place , there is a dub after coming out of nowhere to get the presidency when it should have been the Carlow man that got it and I'm hearing that john Costello from the Dublin county board is a shoe in to get Duffy's job .

Dara is a jewel of a presenter and RTÉ are missing a trick big time by not having him on the telly but I suppose somebody has to pay for the Marty squad :-)

Oh God has their ever been a bigger crime against radio than that marty squad sh*te, its up there with Joe Duffy and the Ronan Collins hour!!!

Jesus, so the Dubs have all the money in the world, the media in their pocket and now the president and the General Secretary in their ranks! Their like the Borg out of Star Trek now, assimilating everything since being pumped with so much money to make them so strong - Resistance is futile indeed.

Yerra to feck them, it will just make the All-Irelands we win from now on even more memorable, knowing we're snatching titles the Dub's have paid handsomely for ;D

According to twitter, we won't see until the players run out tomorrow night. I'm curious myself now to see what the bold Galvin has come up with.
I didn't realise things were so bad in Lixnaw that they had to set up the sweat shops :D
