every county job in the country is now filled and Wee are still waiting
rumours going around the grove last sunday suggesting the reason for the
delay was because he is currently managing a team in the championship still
mmmmmmmmm the mind boggles
would that be the blues or the martins or the gaels
or is it some other county
not much from the selection committee either
no pub sightings or on the hill at games
IS NO ONE INTERESTED IN THE JOB

Kit Henry has been on the hill a few games across the grades.

Well if wee look at the three managers that are still involved we have Ronan Phillips who only took over the Blues this year. He is still young enough and is only in his late thirties. He is blues through and through so he won't be leaving Newfoundwell Road anytime soon. Then we have Jim Farrell who is the manager of the Jocks. This is his third season in charge. In his first season he just kept the Monasterboice men up when they defeated their neighbours Mattock in a relegation play-off. They are just 60 mins away from their first ever senior final. Then we have Malachy O Rouke who is in his second season with the Gaels. The Gaels have not won the senior championship since 1952. This is the second year in a row that O Rouke has guided the Gaels to the semi-finals. They are looking to reach their first final since 1992.

If it is Mc Grath they should make sure there is a good succession plan so when he steps away there is continuity, This destroys a team when everyone walks away and lads come in for a year and then dont try to take opportunity.

Hope not McGrath, He was given a new one year deal in Fermanagh and the players ousted him. It would be just another county taking a manager in that's on the Manager merry go round.....Not a good sign
He is old school and not great style for a very young squad. Apart from Shane Lennon and PK what would the rest of the selection know about picking a good manager. Would be disappointing is Shane and Paddy were part of a selection committee that came up with Peter McGrath

Lets hope its someone new and fresh ideas

I thought, like Bluebod above, that he was overlooked previously. Why now? Nobody else interested?

In that case, Paddy and Shane should have volunteered for the job themselves!

Agree 100%...They would be way better than McGrath and the players would play for them and be able to communicate better.
All Pete McGrath will do is hold us up for another 2 or 3 years...there is better club Managers in the County

He won two all-Ireland's lets not forget however it was a helluva long time ago
That said he brought Fermanagh to a Qfinal and div 2 of the league were they stayed up the first year. 2017 was an impossible job they lost a huge amount of players. I think he'll do ok, we'll stay up in div 2 and get a decent championship win or 2.. that's the height of our expectations to be fair
