Donegal are not happy that they will play Dublin in Croke Park on 14 July in the Super 8's.

All first round Super 8 games have been scheduled for Croke Park on the 14/15 July for a number of months but Donegal are unhappy that what is supposed to be a nuetral venue is in fact Dublin's home ground.

The objection comes just a week after Kildare successfully objected to playing a qualifier game in Croke Park. Kildare were able to use the official rulebook in that instance with the GAA forced to backtrack but Donegal seem to be on less solid ground.

The statement from Donegal tonight reads:

Following the announcement today by the CCCC regarding venues for the All-Ireland Quarter-Final Group stage (Super 8's) games.

C.L.G. Dhún na nGall are to seek a meeting with GAA Officials to seek clarification on how any County may use a Ground as both Neutral and a Home venue .

The intention of the meeting is to ensure a level playing field for every team who will qualify for the All-Ireland Quarter-Final Group Stage and ensure that no team has any advantage over any other team.
