St Brigids club notes

February 26, 2018

All in St. Brigids GAA Club wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the Phelan family on the passing of Patsy Phelan. Patsy gave Trojan service to the club over many decades and served as a Club Trustee in recent years. Patsy will be sorely missed by his wife Gertie, by all of his close and extended family and by his friends in St Brigid's and everywhere.

Huge thanks to all who supported the GAA Club Draw and to our sponsors and supporters for the Race Night.

There was no Lotto Jackpot winner on the 22nd. The next St Brigid's Lotto draw has been deferred from the coming week as a mark of respect to the Phelan family and will be held in the Roselawn Inn on the 8th March. The Jackpot will be €2,200.

An excellent weekend on the pitch for our hurlers with all three adult teams chalking up a win in the first league round of the season. Match reports have been posted on the website. Good wins too for both our Ladies Football U14 teams as the 2018 campaign got underway. Minor B football also had a good win at the weekend.

Well done to Noelle Healy, Ciara Trant, Deirdre Murphy and Paddy Andrews as both Dublin Senior Football teams recorded NFL victories in McHale Park at the weekend, with another double header to come in Croke Park on the 3rd of March. Congratulations to Noelle Healy who won the player of the match award.

Club membership fees are now due - they can be paid online from our website www.stbrigidsgaa.com

Nursery continues each Saturday from 9.30 to 11.00, all 4 to 7 year olds are welcome.
