Mayobridge hit Saval with a late goal blitz to top their group and qualify for the quarter-finals of the Down SFC last weekend.
County star Benny Coulter scored two goals, while Noel Sexton bagged a third two minutes from the end to give the 'Bridge a flattering 3-14 to 0-11 win. Castlewellan finished their group campaign with a resounding 2-15 to 1-6 victory over Clonduff, while Rostrevor bowed out, despite beating Warrenpoint by 3-12 to 1-11. Annaclone routed Liatroim by 2-17 to 0-7, but also exited the championship.
Bryansford underlined their title credentials when Conor Gribben's 17th minute goal proved decisive in a 1-7 to 0-7 victory over Burren, who had already qualified. Kilcoo beat Longstone 4-19 to 2-7 to seal their quarter-final place, while Ballyholland ended their campaign with a stylish 5-11 to 1-5 win over An Riocht.
In Monday night's game, Loughinisland recovered from the concession of two goals before half-time to draw 2-8 to 3-5 with Downpatrick, and progress to the last eight.
