Football
On Friday 26th April the Seniors put back-to-back wins together with a comfortable victory over Loughinisland. This game saw the return to action for county star Dan Gordon who entered the game 5 minutes before half time. However he failed to make any major impact on the game due mainly to a strong performance from Clonduff midfielder Henry Brown. Henry's midfield partner Arthur McConville also put in a great hour scoring 2-7.
The result will give Clonduff good momentum going into their next 2 games against neighbours Kilcoo and Mayobridge. The final score was 2-12 to 1-6

Hurling
Senior Hurlers Record Their First Win in Senior League (Mon 22nd April 2013) Clonduff 1-12 Liatroim 0-4
The Senior Hurlers recorded their first points of the season in a comprehensive win over near neighbours, Liatroim. This game showed the benefit of a strong squad with a number of absentees due to injuries including regular keeper, Niall Quinn and captain, Andrew Quinn.
If hurling is a game to be played on long sunny evenings, Monday night gave a glimpse of what is to come. Players were reminded before the match of the Championship result from last year and how Liatroim would be coming for revenge. This was reflected in the early exchanges.
This was a win based on a great defensive display. David Quinn, who was deputising in goals kept a clean sheet and the backs held Liatroim scoreless from the 10th minute on.
The Hurlers have a bye next week followed by Ballygalget away on Monday 6th May. With 3 encouraging performances, Clonduff have shown that this is a league in which they are more than capable of competing
Team and scorers: David Quinn, Jamie Lowry, Chris Brown, Shane Quinn, Sean Downey , Shay Murnin (1-1), Francis Quinn, Danny Nugent (0-1), Ciarán Smith, Jamie Lynch (0-2), Shane Murray (0-1), Rián Branagan (0-2)Laurence Murphy, John Murphy (0-4), Chris Young (0-1); Subs used: Hugh Murphy, Darragh Downey, Rory McGivern
U12 Hurling on 18/4/13
The Under 12s gave a great display of Hurling against Castlewellan. The League is done on the bases of Go Games which gives everyone a chance to experience playing in different positions. The Clonduff lads showed some great skill and determination, but more importantly they played as a team. After a shaky first half they composed themselves and finished up winning 5-4 to 4-4, thanks to a late goal from James Martin.
Team: Conor Parr, Darragh McAlinden, Conor Ward, Shane Parr, Padraig Clancy, Tom Close, Sean McGone, Rory McKernan, Declan Hudson, Conor McAlinden, James Martin, Charlie Kerr, Oisin Tumilty.
U14 Hurling on 19/4/13
Clonduff 5-7 Warrenpoint 8-13
The under 14s had their first game against a physically strong Warrenpoint team. It was a very high scoring game and although the score line may not suggest it, it was probably one of the best U14 Hurling displays from a Clonduff team in a long time. This is a very young team but they played with great confidence.
Team: Conor Parr, Shane Parr, Tom Close, Rory McKernan, Declan Hudson, James Martin, Charlie Kerr, Darragh Fitzpatrick, Dylan Downey, Shay Fitzpatrick, Cathal Fitzpatrick, Padraig Wilson, Christopher Hynes, Ross Carr.
Ladies Football
The Clonduff U14 Ladies had their first game of the league on Sunday afternoon against a very strong Burren outfit and their experience was evident. However, the scoreline didn't do justice to the effort, and genuine football ability that some of these young Clonduff girls displayed. Burren dominated the first half taking full advantage of the wind - they wasted few chances and built up a score of 5-7 to 1 pt. The second half was a much more even contest where neither teams dominated, however Clonduff were unable to make it count on the scoreboard and so the visitors ran out worthy winners.
Next week the girls take on Rostrevor where both teams are of similar age and therefore a closer contest is expected.
Team. Shannon O'Reilly, Kyla Woods, Niamh Fitzpatrick, Summer Brannigan, Niamh Fearon, Gemma Dillan, Margaret McEvoy, Clara Cowan, Erin Rafferty, Ciara O'Reilly, Cara Boden, Laura Mackin, Tamzin Brannigan, Molly Brown, Tiarna Mullin. Ellen Lively, Ally Magee, Isabella O'Hare Caitlin Brannigan.
The Senior Ladies entertain Teconnaught on Monday night and the U12s have a challenge game away to Rostrevor on Wednesday night.
