The Derry Competitions Control Committee are set to investigate the mass brawl that marred last Sunday's Division One relegation play-off between Glenullin and Foreglen in Owenbeg.
Trouble flared after Foreglen goalkeeper Gary McGee was dismissed late on following an altercation with referee Alan Nash and a video of the minute-long fracas that hoganstand.com published has gone viral on social media.
Glenullin won the game on a scoreline of 3-7 to 1-5 but the CCC is set to launch an investigation ahead of their next play-off match against Claudy this Sunday.
An Oak Leaf spokesman told the Irish News: "The situation is that Derry CCC will conduct an investigation upon receipt of the referee's report.
"That report hasn't been received yet."
