A record 18 teams will compete for the 2024/2025 Danske Bank MacRory Cup, the draw for which was made earlier this week.
There are three new teams taking part, namely last year’s MacLarnon Cup winners Abbey Vocational School from Donegal Town and amalgamation outfits Southwest Donegal and Cathair Dhoire from Derry City.
Four teams from each group progress to the first knockout round before Christmas, after which the field will be reduced to eight. The final of the prestigious Ulster Post Primary Schools ‘A’ Football Championship will take place on Sunday, February 9 at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds.
