Primary School coaching (P1-P3) continues on Friday at The Vale Centre from 6.00pm to 6.45pm, Coaches to be there 5.45pm. Everyone Welcome. These sessions will run until Friday 30th of March with the exception of Friday 17th of February.
Under-14 training continues Sunday at the pitch from 11.00am to 12.30pm. All new players welcome.

Under-16 Training this week at John McLaughlin Park will take place Wednesday at 6.30pm to 8.00pm & Sunday at 10.30am to 12.30pm. Any player who can't attend either of these sessions, please contact Liam O'Connor on 07812113746 or Shane O Neill on 07866422250.

Faughanvale Ladies both Senior and Underage training continues at St. Anne's Hall on Thursdays at 7pm sharp. Seniors to contact Joanne and Underage to contact Bronagh on 07756299650 or Sinead on 07800807355 or Sean on 07912092848 for details. Spread the word ladies and get everyone back out.

The senior men travelled to Tyrone on Sunday to face a strong Aghyaran side in the Ulster League opener. After going behind to two early Aghyaran points the seniors hit back with 1-01 of their own to take the lead. After a close first 20 minutes Aghyaran hit 5 points then in a row to go in at half time leading 0-11 to 1-03. With 10 minutes of the 2nd half gone an Aghyaran player sustained a bad leg injury and the game was abandoned as an ambulance had to be called. Score at this stage was 0-15 to 1-05 to Aghyaran. Senior Men's training continues at the clubrooms Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm sharp ahead of the Ulster League 2nd round game against Foreglen at Home this Sunday 12th Feb (Fixtures Below). Faughanvale GAA Parish/Family Walk will take place on Sunday 12th February, leaving the pitch at 10.30am taking in all parts of our Parish including Coolagh, Killywool, Craigbrack, Eglinton, Killylane, Greysteel and Gortgar. We would encourage all people of the parish to come along and participate in this morning of chat, craic and exercise ending back at the Pitch to be greeted with light refreshments followed by the mens Ulster League game vs. Foreglen at 2pm. The next Club meeting will take place on Monday 13th February at 8pm in the Clubrooms. All committee members are asked to attend.

A provisional date has been arranged for a Child Protection Course to be held at our Clubrooms on Friday 2nd March from 7.00pm. Up to 40 members can attend the course and names will be taken at the Club meeting on Monday 13th @ 8.00pm. Everyone who completes this course will receive an official GAA/Access NI certificate. All our coaches and committee members must attend.
Could ALL managers please note that it is your responsibility to submit match reports for your respective teams if you would like them included in the weekly club notes which go into the newspapers and the parish bulletin. All match reports should be brief (depending on game significance) with details of any major incidents in the game including the team lineout, all scorers and substitutions. Match reports should be sent to [email protected] before 9pm on the Sunday night. It would also be helpful if the scores of each game are text to Declan McGuinness on 07870906076 at the earliest opportunity after a game has finished. Thanks for your co-operation.
