The intermediate Final was a cracker. Carn could have won it with the last shot of the game and the crowd were so involved in the last few plays, it was great championship stuff. dats_rite (Australia) - Posts: 31 - 13/10/2026 10:28:40 2697111 Link 0 |

He is only back for 2-3 weeks and I cannot see him playing on Sunday. What message would that send to the rest of the panel that has put in the hard yards over league and championship. Great club player for us over the years, but in order for him to have a chance of playing this season he needed to come back at the latest after the group stage. But as I said previously, he owes the club nothing. I am hoping for a naomh conail victory Sunday, but I have to admit, I don't know what to expect and I know eunans are a all round good team. It will be another step up from Glenswilly in the semi. The keeper (Donegal) - Posts: 749 - 13/10/2026 21:01:14 2697222 Link 0 |

Confirmed this morning. Huge loss to the county side. But nobody will begrudge him the move and we wish him all the best.

If Naomh Conaill win on Sunday they will now be without the services of Eoghan McGettigan, Kieran Gallagher and Finbar Roarty in Ulster which will be a tough. naomh_conaill_4 (Donegal) - Posts: 528 - 14/10/2026 11:15:20 2697259 Link 0 |

Bad news from a Donegal perspective but an exciting adventure to look forward to for Finbarr himself. Best of luck to him. I wonder when initial contact was made with Finbarr. Personally speaking I don't think he was near the levels this year he set the previous year. The Under 20 semi final and Cork game come to mind in particular.....was this a factor? Outstanding player and a huge loss regardless but we've got away light compared to the likes of Kerry and even Mayo with Kobe and Mullin.
