Annaduff and Dromahair intermediate final it is. Dromahair similar to the quarter final done the damage in the first half and despite their very best efforts Aughavas just fell short. Annaduff I imagine will be favourites but Dromahair have some very good players especially in the forward line, I wouldn't be writing them off. Dromahair beating aughavas is the shock of the championship so far. Dromahair showed serious composure and bottle more than Annaduff has shown this year . If it's like the senior and division 1 minor final on before hand.. dromahair will have a double header on the cards with division 2 minor final also ( good to see a non amalgamated underage side doing well). I think it'll be a very close final Annaduff probably will edge it imo as Cox has unbelievable quality that dromahair don't possess just yet. Thanks so much everyone for remembering this old saying. It's true too. If there's a hole in a bag it won't hold the cat coz age or indeed he will just escape so millions. So that shadowy comes to mind when discussing dromahair having this in the bag. There is a hole in the proverbial bag. I think Fenagh could just shade this game but not comfortably. Intermediate AUGHAVAS vs DROMAHAIR - AUGHAVAS Not much between these sides. I think Dromahair looked brilliant with the wind at their backs against a poor Gortlettragh side, their forwards were on fire. On the flip side, Dromahair were poor defensively against the breeze in 2nd half and if Jack Heslin had any help, they could've bet them. Haven't seen much of Aughavas... but they do have dangerous forwards and if McBrien has the shooting boots on it'll go a long way to putting Aughavas in a final. MELVIN GAELS vs ANNADUFF - MELVIN GAELS There is rumours Darragh Rooney is going to be back from his shoulder injury but will be heavily strapped. If he plays any part in this game, he has to potential to win it on his own. Conor Reynolds you'd imagine would be tasked with marking him who we know from the county is a tight marker. In the Annaduff camp the talk is that Darren Cox went off injured in the last game they played, and hasn't togged since. If this is the same injury that kept him out of the county panel it's worrying for next season in Div4. With the 3 McGloins, Rooney and that Brennan lad in the corner I think Melvin Gaels just have that bit more quality but it will be tight no doubt. Junior A MOHILL B vs GLENFARNE - Mohill B It would be a crying shame to see Glenfarne go down to Junior B, but it is a real possibility next weekend. Eslin could be along with them next year. It's no dig at both proud clubs but it's just the reality of the population decline in these areas. Ballinaglera in a similar boat. Mohill are down a lot of players that came on in the Senior Semi that would've previously played in this grade, but even at that Bmores B team dismantled Glenfarne by 20 points." Darren Cox is gone for the rest of the year for Annaduff, Darragh rooney is flying in training for Melvin, as I said melvin will blow annaduff away in the first 20 minutes , they have better runners from deep.Dromahair will hang in there with aughavas for 40 then Aughavas youth will get them over the line . Any predictions for Sunday please and thanks so millions. Minor game beforehand. I must go with annaduff to win this games as I think they have the better forward unit and so on. For me it's fenagh in the senior. I've said this all year so why change now thanks for understanding why I'm not changing everyone. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Melvin Gaels were probably the stronger and better conditioned team than Annaduff, you could tell they have a year in senior done recently, but Annaduff worked harder and stayed in the game to they had the wind and mage better use of it then. Darragh Rooney wasn't in the game much and probably didn't help them at all. just home from america last night , hoping to bring my young buck to his first drumreilly game tonight agaisnt kiltubrid , they were both senior teams when i was last home but im more shocked by how st marys are now a junior club. Will they even beat aughnasheelan. Surely for a county town they should be atleast a low senior club. None of their young players when i was last home have developed through. There was a u21 i remeber i think his name was christy , can anyone confirm if that was him i seen singing wonderwall on carrick bridge at half 8 thursday morning. I cannot however confirm if a random man you seen singing wonderwall on Carrick bridge on Thursday was called Christy.
