Replying To Loughlenegale:  "On paper, it looks encouraging. Shane Keegan (if its who i think you mean) brings extensive coaching experience from across different sports, while Seamus Flanagan's understanding of elite-level forward play would be a huge asset. That said, if there is a rift between KOB and senior players, even the best coaching appointments may not be enough on their own. Ultimately, success will depend on everyone pulling in the same direction."
Despite many including myself on this forum looking for kevin o brien to become manager the rift as you say seems extensive and also a rift brewing with conaty in u20 as they've taken a coach that he had originally brought in from what i hear in collinstown.

Replying To jobber:  "Exactly but its clearly a start. If David O Reilly has the opportunity to work with Flanagan he might think again about risking his shoulder with the footballers. Niall O Brien and others would surely love the chance to buy into some of the Limerick ideas.
Keegan was with Wexford hurlers and some soccer clubs.
Id say lads will look diffeently at the county if these two are confirmed."
Wexford hurlers at their lowest ebb in the county's illustrious history. Hope he has more success with our hurlers.

I heard they were sharing him which would make sense from a tactical point of view. The manager and his team and indeed the 20s management need to hit the ground running.

Good win for Turin yesterday, are they good enough to win it out now??. They won't want to lose 2 finals in a row.

Turin did very well but need to win the final now against a Raharney who will be going for the double.
The blues far too good for a Castletown in decline. No Aonghus Clarke and Niall O Brien a shadow of his old self and it looks like David O Reilly will need a lot of hurling to be the man he was. Varley, Murphy, Lynch have a lot of miles on the clock.

The senior B semi final was more entertaining and Plunketts can put it up to Pollard.Brownstown have improved but just lacked a killer touch.Plunketts have a balanced, physically powerful team so hopefully four great finals in two weeks as the Clonkill v Clann Na Gael under 16 match should be a thriller as well but why o why has it been taken out of Raharney. No disrespect to Robinstown but its not nearly as good a pitch.

Raharney will blow them away with how they performed today. Best performance I've seen from any team inside this county in years

Interesting to see Conor mckeogh not start for Raharney even though he was starting for Westmeath at times this year. He would make every team in the county and is one of the top corner backs in the county. Something not right there

They cpuld but ctg wete also poor. Obruen xarrying injury couldnt shrugg off. That said raharney were strobg well coached but best performance imn years in the county in years a bit of recency bias

That's a bit of a stretch! It shows what was wrong with Westmeath rather!
