Advanced Mark is going to destroy the art of defending. Brilliant defending by Louth in the 44th minute only for the ball to be taken back for the Mark.

After all the hype, what an absolute anti climax. Mayo brilliant of course but theyve not come up against much. Almost a hindrance going into the final.

Congrats to our western cousins and best of luck in the final.
A non event of a game today though, could have done with a tougher test.

Fair play Mayo, when the players are on form that brand of football is very very hard to stop

Mayo as easy winners against Louth as Donegal was against Meath last year. Interesting both were only 4 points in front at half time.

So many pundits that was tipping Louth to win was music to Mayo's ears and many of those pundits are generally wrong and how wrong they were today.

Unfortunately from a neutral point of view it was another non competitive contest in knock out championship football and hopefully the semi-final tomorrow and final is better viewing.

Mayo can only beat what's in front of them. Louth have more in them than that, but Mayo rolled over them.
A comprehensive victory and they are back to whete they want to be. Mayo will be praying for a Dub victory!

Well done Mayo , poor ould Louth couldn't cope playing a Div 1 team.

Thats Cork, Meath and Louth accounted for since their back to back defeats and they are in an All Ireland final..
Seems mad!

Thanks Belclare….weve been here multiple times before though. No good unless we finish the job now.

Not surprised by Mayo. Was saying during the winter that they actually weren't that far away. A dangerous opponent.

Meath had them beaten, Cork left a lot behind, and Roscommon pushed them aside with ease. Mad to think they've somehow snuck into an All Ireland Final. If Dublin make it, absolutely nobody would have predicted a Dublin Mayo final

Great atmosphere in Croker yesterday.
Started with Wicklows big come back.

Louth out numbered Mayo in the stands and the noise and atmosphere during the parade was upthere with Mayo v Dublin in 06.

Mayo eaten alive on their own kickout but looked versy dangerous upfront.

Louth just havent the defenders for Mayos ff line. Once Mayo started winning ball from kickouts in the 2nd half, they pulled away at ease.

Once Lennon was gone, Louth hadnt any running threat, so Mayo just manned up on the ARC and louth had no speed to break that line. Kicking 2 pointers into the hill against wind was never going to work.

A lot young Mayo fans, who missed the big games in the 2010's had a great intoduction to Mayo wen they are rolling. Great atmosphere at the end.

Tough on Louth, but they are a county on the rise. We had many beating like that in my time, but they generally ended up making the team better and were followed up a yeat or two later by winning big games.

Todays match will set the tone for how Mayo supporters will enjoy the next 2 weeks.

For the All-Stars yesterdays performance from Louth did themselves no favours as nearly every player in contention has played themselves out of it.

Only player I'd have from Louth now is Dara McDonnell
