Replying To bloodandbandage:  "That's a shocking attendance for the Wexford/Galway match. Was watching the highlights on the SG last night and the main stand looked empty"
Attendances at Wexford hurling matches have been decreasing year on year.
Even the actual Championship games where a win is vital for progression we'd still only get a few thousand showing up.
It's hard to see that changing anytime soon unfortunately

Any official attendance on Galway vs Westmeath. Seems to be the only attendance unannounced from last weekend.

Was listening to a sports show today and they reckon croke park will pull in 300000 supporters for the 4 all ireland semi finals ( 2 hurling and 2 football) . They say Cork alone could sell out croke park this weekend. Dublin v Kerry should sell out . 70000 + for the limerick v Clare game and the same for Mayo v Louth. I actually think Mayo v Louth could be a sell out too. Mayo have a huge support and there won't be a person left in Drogheda and Dundalk next weekend. Some support all the same from all . Ill be at them all . Cant wait.

Mayo v Louth is sold out on ticketmaster according to a few comments I've seen online. Went on sale at 12 midday. Down v Wicklow in the T cup beforehand too.

I don't think Mayos support has been overly huge this year. Of course All-Ireland final place on offer and a game they'll be expecting to win the demand will be huge.
