Replying To tirawleybaron:  "Exactly - no much between 5th and 14th.

The complaints from the Meath poster are ongoing. He feels the league results are more important than Championship.
All because Meath went well in div 2, but are stinking the place out in the championship."
Not at all, not complaining about meaths possition, just feel Tyrone too high.....was under the impression you can have your opinion on here, will try keep that in check going forward.

fair enough - but when you look at it in 2 weeks time after the next round

Donegal will beat Cork
Armagh will beat Louth
Galway will beat Westmeath
and Tyrone will beat Mayo

So a last 8 where Tyrone, Donegal, Armagh and Galway are siting waiting for the rest -
I'd say Tyrone are a top 8 team this year without doubt.

Of the likely prelim q finalists (Mayo, Westmeath, Louth, Cork, Roscommon, Kerry, Meath and Dublin) there is really only Kerry and Westmeath who could claim to have played better in the championship so far.

Meath carrying on their Championship form from last year's 20 point mauling in the AI semi final.

If he keeps beating teams by 20 points in all ireland semi finals I'm sure he'll be ok. Imagine getting annoyed about a power rankings list.

Not sure why you are so convinced that Tyrone will win against your own Mayo

Tyrone over the last few years are at their best when underdogs with bookies and punters. When they are favourites as they are for Sunday they do tend to get beaten as Mayo proved last year in Omagh.

Mayo management I'm sure will be addressing the poor 2nd half displays they had in their last two games and if done correctly then Mayo should find themselves in the All-Ireland quarter-final and you'll need to adjust those rankings once more.

I know it's only fun but how can Tyrone drop a place by beating Mayo?

Beating Mayo at home (with a dodgy free at the end) wouldn't be considered as good a result as Cork going to Ballydoffey and beating Donegal (where they rarely lose).

Not much in it - but for me that Cork result is as big a result as you get. How often do Tyrone win in Ballyboffey?

How can Galway jump to 3rd beating only division 3 and 4 teams in championship today.

Dodgy free? Tyrone win in Ballybofey, quite often.
