Replying To ColmFlaherty:  "Good to see Fintan Burke back from his injury, does make me wonder about Kevin Cooney. Anyone know the story about him, is he still in the panel?"
I would have thought anyone who is remotely in touch with the Galway hurling scene would know that he's not. This has been known since the start of the year and probably as far back as last Autumn.

I think Galway could win 10-15 points tomorrow. Their forwards are built for Croker Park. LEinster final will be their All Ireland.

Have 50 double on Limerick and Galway

Cheers, he always a good forward for winning his own ball.

It was just a question, not an unreasonable one either considering he was slightly injury prone, then to factor the new lads in the panel.

Would be good to add Kevin Cooney and Liam Collins to the forward options next year. One disturbing consideration today is contemplating how we'll replace Daithi, Cathal and Whelan before this 'transition' is likely completed in the coming seasons. Three huge performances from those 'old boys' today.

Congrats to all involved today. A performance very much deserving of a Leinster title. We needed that one and it showed. Some outstanding performances all over the pitch. Obviously Tom Monaghan was brilliant. I thought Conor Whelan was exceptional, even without the scores he got. The amount of ball he won back and dirty ball he managed to get into his hand was crucial.
Daithí was a rock and the defence in general performed well. Almost every high ball was either won or broken to a spare man. The work-rate was there throughout, and some of the heads-up hurling was a joy to watch.
Fair play lads. It's a right shot in the arm and we have a semi-final to look forward to now.

Not even katser could have predicted that winning margin

They're not ancient, far younger than some lads still playing like tj Reid, John conlon, seamus harnedy, etc

In fairness the scoreboard flattered Dublin it could have been 20pts or more the win for Galway.
This hiding was along time due it was only a matter of when it would happen

Hopefully the likes of Séan Murphy, Cullen Killeen come good in a few years. Probably Brian Callanan as well and maybe Vince Morgan.

Replying To Watchthepost:  "Coming back to you in relation to the u20 final. I think it did not go well for many and defensively we had none.
The Loughrea players did not cover themselves in glory admittedly but injury was a factor.
There is no bias against Loughrea players only at senior level. One starter again tomorrow.
Gavin Lee has received many chances not afforded to others and that's a fact.
Big day tomorrow for Donoghue and Co. and his second tenure. Dare I say it he needs a result.
Is the improvement seen this year just down to the few young lads who came through?
Time will tell.............."
Got a result too.
