I know I won't be taking Cork lightly that's for sure. We lost to Cork two years ago and could have had no complaints.
Plenty of good footballers in Cork who can do damage if they're let. I'm sure McGuinness will have that drummed into our lads.

It's a great oppontunity to advance to the quarter finals directly. The Championship will really be heating up now over the next couple of weeks.

Happy with a home draw...

Cork are going to test our kick outs. They were very impressive v Meath with a man down and had to come back from several points down at one stage. Its a perfect game for both teams and I would guess Cork will be coming to ballybofey the way we went down to Killarney...to ambush us.

But we have to believe in our team now, and Im not going to doubt them. I can see us prevailing after a huge battle.

Jarlath Burns seemed to indicate that the game will be in MacCumhaill Park. Hopefully that will be the case. I wouldn't think Cork will take a big support up? Should be plenty of tickets available.

On another note - a huge bualadh bos to all in CLG Chill Chartha on a very well run Comórtas Peil na Gaeltachta.

Absolutely spot on about the Gaeltacht championship in Kilcar. Brilliant job by the club organising it all. Great example of what the GAA is really about... not county teams but communities , volunteers and Irish culture. The atmosphere around Kilcar at the weekend was brilliant and some really good games with men and women giving everything they had for the love of their parish

Tyrone v Mayo tie of the round imo. Wonder will ours be televised too? Surely have to show Monaghan v Westmeath and Derry v Meath. They'd probably want to show do or die Cavan v Dublin over Kerry game.

Kerry of course get the worst side in All Ireland.

With Galway and Armagh getting very winnable games, it means Kerry's worst scenario in round 3 would by Tyrone /Mayo loser as they can't draw Donegal /Cork again

Cork are a very good team. Big men, strong in midfield. Jim certainly won't take them lightly nor should he. Should be a very good match.

Most of the games will be shown. The problem is GAA+ seems to have has dibs over RTE. So the main free to air might slot not be the biggest game.

Sorry correction

The winners of 2B play the losers of 2A next in round 3

The winners of round 3 play the winners of 2A in quarterfinals

But the 2A winners won't play each other until at least semi finals.

The 4 teams that go straight to the quarter finals avoid each other in the quarter final draw. No repeat pairings where possible from provincial finals on.

We won't be getting ahead of ourselves, cork upset us 2 years ago down in pairc ui ring hitting us for 3 goals. They have sone very good footballers and are athletic around the middle third. Their full forward line will test anyone with a decent supply of ball.

Yes I would encourage anyone who is looking for a good weekend anyway to try the Comortas weekend, whether it's here in Donegal or down the country. You would probably need to book accomodation early. It really is a great weekend. Football, music and craic all the way. The hosts in Kilcar put in a serious effort and everything seemed to run seamlessly.

Sixteen and counting! The number of articles in the Indo about the "McGuinness affair". Including three new ones so far today. Honest to God they're like a dog with a bone. Time to move on lads! There's a championship on with sixteen teams still in it!

Echo that. Brilliant Comortas and an amazing feat of organisation by Kilcar. Also some very good football. The Gaoth Dobhair v Cill Chartha match on Sunday evening was a cracker. Great to see Mark McHugh togging out 24 hours after Westmeath's brilliant extra time comeback against Cavan.

I reckon its the interview Niall Moyna gave this morning about Ger's ban probably kicking up dust but to be fair to him he did say its not about Donegal but how harsh it was on Ger.
