I agree with your frustrations lads but the thing is, this is a good thing really. The 12 week ban was ridiculous and likely will be changed completely for next season. I know that doesn't help you right now but imagine if Jim got 12 weeks too? When would it end.

It was bad then but even worse now.
I haven't seen or heard a single person think that the ban for Ger was proportionate.

Let's see what type of ban Burns gets…!"
It actually is a joke.So managers can go around pushing players now.Talk about a Pandoras box.To not get any ban at all is beyond ridiculous.Davy Fitzgerald can feel rightly agreived for the punishments that were handed to him.

All this talk about the Dubs being favourites for the Leinster Hurling Final - well not according to the bookies. They have Galway at 2/5 fav's.
Dublin 7/4

Seems about right in fairness.

I agree with you but Ger appealed his ban and got nowhere. It was ridiculous.
Effectively banned for the whole Championship.

Absolutely no consistency.

Remember the witch hunt against Connolly a few years ago. Even now I believe his suspension was very harsh.

So this year, If Burns plays again this season after that he did and Ger is banned for the season - what the hell is going on.???

Galway 4/7 now. 2/5 was ridiculous. Don't think there's much between them. Hard to call.

Someone posted that if Anyone from the bench or backroom team come onto the field of play or sideline, and then push or hit a player or a member of the opposing backroom team - suspension. End of.

BUT, with the shortened season, a 3 month ban for a push is OTT.

I know Ger was wrong but come on, a 1 month ban was the correct punishment.

It would end by managers not running onto the field and interfering with opposition players. The fact is Brennan was banned for 12 weeks. We can all agree it was an excessive punishment but the fact McGuinness gets away Scot free makes a mockery of the Brennan ban.

This whole mess may cost Kerry and/or Donegal further down the line. For instance a player involved in a future 50/50 incident may result in red…rightly or wrongly these things can often come back to bite you.

Gers ban was ridiculous but jammy jimmy gets away again. He does everything to try get to opposition and always gets away with it.I believe at half time they left the yerras waiting for ages in the sun before coming back out.The ref should have thrown in the ball or awarded a 14 m free. That would sort him.
Same last year in the All Ireland final they wont come to the parade on time and the match starting late because of them and then they break away from the parade.Hope they get their due medicine and very soon.
Is there any way Ger can re appeal now after this decision?I guess not.Anyway we should be able for Louth Sunday and maybe get Donegal next. That would be some buzz.If we had Con and Basquel back it wwho knows.

13/8 bud.Galway are favourites on reputation but we beat them already in Galway so its a price worth backing.

I'd be peeved at that decision lads. I may have never really supported dublin football and gers suspension never cost me a thought but now I think of it, you've been done dirty, gaa afraid to come down on Star player and manager more likely to be involved at business end (no disrespect meant, nothing to stop you making at least a quarter final)

This muck about gaa not coming down on a star player is muck spread by Donegal supporters to distract from McGuinness's potential suspension. Any ref that would have given a red card to clifford over that challenge is ridiculous regardless of whatever still frame, it's a normal shoulder challenge. He doesn't go in with raised arm, it happens to make contact. That happens all the time in shoulder challenges that they hit shoulder first and then maybe hit cheek or face - those are never red cards, they are yellow cards at most.
