Galwayford was at the match. Thought Galway team looked smaller in comparison to the bigger Dubs. Dublin physically stronger in difficult conditions. Galway a lot of hand passing with very little to show, just wides. Galway full back line looked weak and also our full forward line did not score any goals. Great credit to the lads for sticking in there. 10 points down at one stage in the second half and still 5 behind approaching injury time. An excellent game played by both teams considering the conditions. Both sides left it all out there and some of them could hardly move in the second half of extra-time. The team that won in 2017 was physically imposing. Our team now looks smaller. Especially the full back line. The Dublin full forward rampaged through it. Hope Mr Donoghue can rectify this. Wexford are no pushovers. And Galway will have to be at their best to beat them. Hopefully the 20s can get the job done later on for a 2 peat in the Leinster Championship. Thinking ahead to Sunday I'd go with 1. Darach Fahy 2. Ronan Glennon 3. Cillian Trayers 4. Darren Morrisey 5. Padraig Mannion 6. Daithi Burke 7. Gavin Lee 8. Cian Daniels 9. Tom Monaghan 10. Darragh Neary 11. Cathal Mannion 12. Rory Burke 13. Jason Rabbitte 14. Conor Whelan 15. Colm Molloy Not sure if Niland will make it, looked uncomfortable on Saturday, hopefully Rory Burke is back if not then Tiernan Killeen would be in for me. To be honest their isn't any other inside forward in the panel I'd be comfortable with, maybe we have Monaghan at half forward with Rory Burke in the corner and Killeen at midfield, maybe Oisin Lohan with a start somewhere.
