Replying To tirawleybaron:  "Everyone said it was impossible in the modern game and then Dublin won 5 in a row.

Even since then, with the short championship - a few early season injuries and your nearly done,

You need all players fit and in from, from May to August 2 years in a row.
You would want to forget the league to garauntee that.

If you skip the league, you might not have enough football played to be able to go to the well in championship.

It will be a big achievement if Kerry pull it off. But they are usually the ones that do it."
Munster hurling province has benefited them no end down through the years. I can remember a year in the seventies I think they only played 3 games to win all ireland. Someone can correct me, but they got a bye in the minster semi final? I was only a young fella at the time!!

Replying To hlynch12:  "No anti kerry stuff here Mickey. Great admiration for neighbouring county.

Calling out kerry and referees is just calling as see it.
Ryan McHugh and Ciaran Thompson got badly injuries but didn't same level crying as league final."
Just watch kerry ramp up the Michael Murphy stuff as the game nears, from now on! Glasshouses and stones comes to mind, but the irony may be lost on them.
