Mighty Gaa coverage and build up to the Connacht final in todays Roscommon Herald. Fair play to Ian Cooney and all his team in the sports department who have obviously being burning the midnight oil. letsgetgoing (Roscommon) - Posts: 896 - 05/05/2026 15:36:28 2671148 Link 2 |

The powers to be have decided to moved the All-Ireland U20 Semi-final to Wednesday night May 13th in Semple Stadium with a 7.30pm. Not played on the original date Saturday the 9th because Kerry was granted the request to move in back because Tomas Kennedy will be involved with the Seniors on Sunday. It will give Roscommon players more time to recover from the extra time in Tuam I suppose. Not to forget that a Roscommon man is probably the most powerful figure in the gaa when it comes to fixture and competition scheduling.

More time to recover yes when it was clear it wasn't going ahead Saturday as Thomas O'Se got to work on that straight after the Munster final. More than a Roscommon man involded. There is a list committee members overseeing the possible options on when and where fixtures are fixture are set. Next up no doubt our U17s All-Ireland quarter-final against Ulster opposition will be played in a Ulster venue The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 4363 - 06/05/2026 19:10:49 2671367 Link 0 |
