Replying To Doylerwex:  "I'm hearing fanning and Damien Reck are fine. Shane Reck has a broken finger so I'd imagine that rules him out.

We should have pretty much the full compliment minus Cian byrne. Not sure about patsy either and he's missed a lot.

There will still have to be changes.

Fanning
Donohue
Jippo
S Reck or Murphy
Lawlor
D Reck
Carley
Hearne
Wickham
Cillian Byrne ( he's earned a start)
Roche (two from play when we were struggling)
Redmond (wasted inside)
Rowley
Chin
K Foley

Sadly Jacko just isn't fit.

I'd go with Murphy in the corner but expect Rossi to pick Foley or Clarke."
I agree on Murphy corner back if Shane Reck is out. Id play Conor Foley wing back and a toss up between Eamon Wickham and Carley maybe slightly favouring Carley given he has a bit more experience, has bulked up and should be able for the physical battle around the middle of the field.

Replying To Yellaman:  "Limerick bear us easily in hurling, the footballers drew with Roscommon & lost the replay the following week"
On one of the wettest most miserable summer days I can remember!

Funnily enough I remember going to see the footballers beat Tyrone in a league semifinal and then down to Kilkenny where we got hurled out the gate on one of fhe wettest most miserable days I can remember.

Frantically checked my tickets for Saturday week, yep definitely in the covered stand!!

Replying To Stool Pigeon:  "I watched this game as a 'neutral' and was really disappointed with the Wexford players' collective application (with some honourable exceptions) talent and ability are useless without application.

That can't be on the manager. As a player you control your own application. You can underperform or get roasted by a better opponent on any given day but there's no excuse for not putting it all in, especially against THIS Kilkenny side"
I agree 100% with your summation . It does nt matter who is over the team. When you put that jersey on if you have any pride in yourself or your county, whichever county it may be you have to be prepared to go that extra mile if not what us the hard slog over the winter/spring to be ready all about .
If its not good enough so be it .
But the least you can do is try .
I felt Saturday as dejected as I ever was with the effort from some players and some of them the more established ones whome our newer players need to bring them along . The onus should fall on them to lead by example .
Not at all confident we can turn thus around.
I certainly dont blame management ( unless there is something im missing ) they have there limitations yes but the players ultimately have the responsibility once they cross that white line .
If our season is to end prematurely so be it but by god i want to see resilience/pride restored and a marked improvement in effort, intensity and teamwork .
We will always support them but give us something please.

I would echo that Formertownie. The workrate and intensity shown in Nowlan Park just was not acceptable.
I am hoping and expecting a big response from our lads on Saturday in front of what I hope is a big and vocal Wexford support . I know there is good lads still in that dressing room and they are hurting after last Saturday

Replying To WEXILE:  "Limerick won by 2 points, football was a draw alright"
I stand corrected !! From memory, I thought Limerick had won handily.
It wasn't bad for the football, then the heavens opened and it was horrendous.
There were problems in the stand when Limerick season ticket holders turned up & there were no seats left.

I think it was 2011 Limerick beat us well in the park

No it was 09, they scored 2 points in injury time to win it. In 2011 they beat us handy down in the gaelic grounds

After the performance on Saturday, it'd make you wonder what role Bernard Dunne is playing and what impact he's having?

It was 2012 they beat us well, but the weather was ok that day.
It was 2009 the weather was shocking.

It was hard to believe our lack of intensity and belief . I really hope along with the management team he can help us deliver a completely different performance next Saturday

Was definitely 2011 in the Gaelic Grounds in the Championship, Cork knocked us out in Thurles in 2012, footballers lost to Tipp in the curtain-raiser and I think Limerick them beat Clare in the third game

Hurlers lost to Limerick in Wexford Park in the 2012 league alright

If a Wexford man need Bernard Dunne to get him in the right headspace to play Kilkenny then that's a problem.
I am not sure what role he plays within the coaching set up but the sight of the black and amber stripes should have any Wexford man ready for war.

That was 2015 I think Doylerwex . I remember the optimism after we went on a good run in 2014 and we went backwards then in 2015 and 2016 before Davy came in in 2017

We lost to Limerick by around 8 in the Park in 2012. We lost to Cork by 8 in 2015.
