Worth a solo thread for those of us needing wanting a roundup!
Galway look a bit ahead of everybody.
Kilkenny back in the pack, but a backlash will surely be there this weekend.
Wexford took care of business v Kildare, with tougher battles ahead.
Offaly and Dublin played out an unexpected draw, I think Dublin underestimated them and Offaly got the goals to get the draw. Looked like game of the weekend from the highlights, but it'd never get the credit it deserves.
So its 2 from 4 for 2nd and 3rd. Hard to see Kildare getting a win but I didn't see the game at the weekend bar highlights.

Offaly drawing with Dublin has threw things wide open. Hard to see past Galway for top spot but after that I could see any of us Kilkenny , Dublin or Offaly finish in 2nd and 3rd. Offaly looked really impressive from the highlights I seen and will be a match for anyone in leinster. The result of Wexford and Kilkenny this weekend could have a big bearing on where both teams finish the round robin series.

If Kildare dont pick up injuries they might surprise someone, especially in Newbridge. Unlikely to be Galway, but if they play on that same pitch in the condition it was in on Saturday they might surprise Offaly in the last game. That pitch definitely wouldn't suit top of the ground hurlers like Offaly have.
What they need to find/develop is more hurlers on the panel they can bring on who wont weaken their team. We got a noticeably better impact from our subs than they did from theirs.

Bit early to say Galway are a bit ahead at this stage. We won't be playing Kilkenny at home every weekend, more's the pity after Saturday

Dont think kk have the quality for a backlash they have been poor all year and cant even see them finish in top 3 to be honest leinster hurling is at a very loew ebb no reason why we cant win a leinster title this year Galway maybe not as good as some people think kk are very poor so hard to judge.
