Lads who played for the club until they were young adults transferred to clubs in Dublin and London. Some were Senior intercounty players. We ended up getting relegated to Intermediate. Should we be paid a cut of their wages? Or a signing fee from the clubs they went to? Absolutely we shouldn't. Never heard such nonsense."

All professional athletes have agents - this is not new - no one was suggesting club players have agents or wages so im not sure what raving you are at.
If the GPA are the players agent - they negotiate a better deal and a fee - just like any professional agent.
All im saying is that is the only way to get something back - The GPA have plenty of employees and contractors working for them. Im not sure what your getting at about them being an association
Its not about demanding a cut of the young players - its about getting a better deal for them. At the minute they use hearsay and solicitors to help - so they arent getting the best deal they can get. Especially in the womens game
