Would be nice to see the like of Jack Duncan get a run, most of the older players have moved on so you'd imagine these lads will get the exposure now. Not sure if there's many more of last year's 20s knocking on the door.

I could definitely be forgetting obvious ones there."

It's a really good Team alright but I think the whole "the rest attack" bit, might have contributed to losing 8 of our 12 games last year and this Management group will surely look to address that.

That's what I was getting at. Can't have a team where everybody wants to attack, even Drumm and Scahill are known to score but you need more out and out defenders in that team for sure. That half back line would never defend.

All very quiet in

Caulry"
Reading the Longford forum this isn't true as post saying Ballymahon gone with someone else and not Martin. A lot of talk on that forum about Conor Foley being linked with Granard and other jobs. Any idea why he left Castledaly after only a year considering he appeared to have been making progress and it is his home club?

Surely the man of the match in the senior county final starts after starting every game last year ?
I think ciaran Nolan will be in contention for the number 6 jersey which will allow Wallace to move up into the forwards to link up with Luke as he done in a few games last year.
Sam smyth once fit should also be a starter.

I hear Niall Mitchell is also in with the footballers , he has the potential to be a huge addition to the set up.

Shane ormsby not a bad player but I still think he has a good bit to go.

My starting 15 for the NFL, first game away to Clare is vital, need to be winning in Ennis to get the year off to a good start.

If that's true it's another in the long list of players not available to Kevin O' Brien. Niall and Ciaran O' Brien, Joey Boyle, Jogger, Niall Mitchell, Robbie Greville, Darragh Clinton and Aaron Craig. Darragh Egerton has yet to play since knee injury and David O' Reilly is out injured until May. That's ten players who would be getting game time in every match, a huge turnover, retaining Div. 3 status and McDonagh status would represent an achievement, certainly a tough start for new management

Ah yes I did say I'd forget a few. Smyth, Moran, O Sullivan and Kelly all likely to feature.
