Replying To ORIELMAN85:  "You back on the wacky stuff. Killeevan will battle it out again with Oram for the Wooden Spoon."
Will it be a Senior hurling championship or junior football league trophy next into the club orielman

And why not?

Teams will still be mad to win the championship and go play in ulster. Championship is always number one

Correct, and anyone who says otherwise has never had any club involvement.

It's time to rethink the nonsense of delayed league finals, and even late championship finals

Look where we are today.

In intermediate, Carrick and Blayney are forced into a fixture that likely suits neither. Emmets have an eye on an Ulster campaign starting in a weeks time and are unlikely to field a max strength team as they probably have several players in mothballs for various reasons

And Blayney enter the fray with a looming Ulster hurling game in just a couple of days. Where will those players be focused? Player welfare anyone??

Scotstown find themselves in a similar situation with a league final at an inopportune time, a game Magheracloone are sitting around for a few weeks waiting for when they should be on a well deserved break.

And what about the 4 or 5 week layoff Inniskeen had? A bit more match sharpness might just have made a difference in the final last week.

Having our club representatives in Ulster prepared for success does not mean giving them just two weeks to recover from tough championship finals, having them play further finals in that period and expect truly competitive games

If the argument is that we can't have teams promoted before championship as they then won't bother, that's nonsense. I'd say we'll have a few teams not bothering too much this weekend. And that's totally unfair to the likes of Kilanny in intermediate who would be hoping for a Carrick win tonight.

Blayney back in Senior against Carrick's second string and monaghan gaa didn't even bother going to the game and covering it.
Shows the value of our league finals this time of year. Feel for Killanny in all this
