Kerry are going to be very hard to beat in the final, Clifford is unreal, seriously talented team with the fire in their bellies to win it this year.

Replying To Lockjaw:  "Really hope that when all is said and done that we do get great support for the lads on Sunday. Meath will likely outnumber us, so we really need to make ourselves heard encouraging the lads. I think it's vital that we start well and not be giving a talented Meath team any opportunity to seize the initiative.

It was funny trying to explain to my young kids that this doesn't just happen all the time. They've been spoiled with sucecss since Jim came back. Forget 2026 and whatever else is down the line. We need to strike now when the iron is hot."
Good man lockjaw. Agree completely. See how many times the players called out their supporters in the post match. It really.matters. given the messing with the tickets Donegal will.dominare the first three rows and we need to roar them.kn tomorrow. Up Donegal.....

We don't worry about Kerry as we have to overcome Meath which will not be easy. You only worry about your next match and nothing further.

Ah we'll not worry about Kerry this evening. Small matter of a Meath team to take care off first....

He didn't say who Kerry would be playing in the Final. Just said that Kerry would be hard beat in that Final.

It was a fair comment.

Must say I'm quite depressed after that game. Barely a sheet of cigarette paper between ourselves, Armagh and Tyrone and Kerry have just embarrassed both of them.

Whether it's ourselves or Meath in the final, either team will be big underdogs now the sleeping giant has awoken.

That coupled with my nerves building for tomorrow.
And to add insult to injury, the house is like an oven with the heat so won't sleep a bloody wink ;)

Well spotted, yes of course whether it's Meath or ourselves Kerry are going to be very hard to beat on the form they showed against Armagh and again today,
talent is one thing they have in abundance but they also have that fire in the belly as I said, think they are stung by the criticism they get at home more than anything else, Jack O'Connor has won the All Ireland every year he won the league I think I read, the omens aren't good tbh.
If we do win tomorrow we def owe them one from 2014 I think, hope it's a bit cooler tomorrow anyway, it will test the fitness big time.
Donegal by 2 PG.

Kerry will rightly be favourites against either Meath or ourselves but the final will be far from a foregone conclusion. Kerry have a squad of talented players and I think above all else they thrive on confidence. Once they got into their groove against Armagh they never lost it, although Armagh for their part helped them greatly by failing to vary the kickout.

Today, Tyrone did very well against Kerry in midfield. They suffocated them in the first 10 minutes. But for some sheer individual brilliance from David Clifford, Kerry were in danger of letting Tyrone out into a commanding lead. Kerry finished the half stronger and rightly went in in front, but from a Tyrone perspective the wides and shot selection in the second half were absolutely horrendous. In my opinion Kerry weren't carving through Tyrone, but the difference was they kept the scores ticking as Tyrones accuracy abandoned them. In particular there were 2 point efforts from Teague, McKernan and Donnelly which were frankly pitiful. The icing on the cake was the two pointer which was taken back for a free, which Morgan took short and McGeary made a plash of.

Kerry looked strong today without being obscenely good. The irony is I think if you swap Tyrone out for Armagh today, Armagh have the forwards to have kept Kerry more honest in the third quarter.

Kerry are stacked with talent and have shown obvious potential but I wouldn't write an obituary for the remaining semi finalists yet.

Excellent performance from Donegal and relentless in their running and efficiency. Definitely have an overall stronger squad than Kerry so expect a Donegal win in the final.
Good luck in final!

Fairplay lads, phenomenal performance and you exploited every little frailty we showed. Gonna be some final and undoubtedly the two best teams will meet in the final!

What a performance!!! I hope we have a plan for Clifford. They'll need a lot of plans for our players that's for sure. Murphy deserves a film!

Around the same time last year, although bitterly disappointed that we had narrowly lost to Galway, I was convinced that this team would improve under the great Jim McGuinness. Add one of the greatest to ever do it back into the mix, and well - we're almost there.

An incredible win yesterday. Could not find fault with a single player. It was a really ruthless & clinical performance. The quality off the bench was fantastic to see. I think two of the biggest roars I gave yesterday was when Caolan McGonagle did a wee dummy and then went on one of his trademark charges up the pitch, and another time when he smashed a Meath kickout about 40 yards!

Kerry will obviously provide a stiffer test in two weeks time. David Clifford was awesome the other day, but I felt Tyrone didn't do enough to protect Hampsey. I'm sure Jim will be busy devising a plan to negate Clifford's impact. It will go a long way towards beating them. Seanie O'Shea was closely tagged on Saturday and was nowhere near as influential. The other Clifford will need special attention too.

Great support yesterday too! It was good craic at the toll booth on the way home. Hills of Donegal blaring, horns tooting! Some buzz now for the next couple of weeks!

Fair play to the team yesterday on a super and relentless performance. It's just great to be in our what is only our 4th final ever.

As it turned out meath did get a little caught in the headlines and aren't at the level they hoped they were at. It was a remarkably similar score line to donegals defeat of cavan. They didn't get their two points in the first half and in truth were guilty of relying on it too much as a tactic. Donegal only hit one two pointer and it was a free. It was 3.25 in old money and that is some scoring.

Murphy definitely had a bit of knock and hopefully it's only a minor one and won't impact him for the final. Mogan and mccolgan were moving a bit gingerly at times as well. It was really good to see mcgonagle get some time into his legs as well. If he's back at himself he'll start the final.

The goals were all excellent. Farrahs one killed the game and the placement was great. I wonder have they been working on finishing. The second two were kind of passed in the net and showed real composure from moore and conor o'donnell. I love that little kick pass from gallen as well to conor o'donnell.

It was a great crowd down from the hills and the buzz and the support was just super.

Brilliant Brilliant donegal in croke park yesterday, we have a county team to be proud irrespective of what happens against Kerry. It was just a game too far for this young Meath team who have had an exceptional year themselves.

Irrespective of it being Kerry or anyone else All Ireland finals are incredibly hard to win. Jim returned because he believed it was possible, he has the players believing its possible. The whole county is behind them.

Kerry will present another conundrum for Donegal in the final, Donegal will present Kerry with the same. Both teams have a game they are comfortable with, both teams have exceptional players. I believe it will come down to our well our defence cope with the Kerry attack, I believe there are scores for us against any opposition under the new rules. Kerry have the best set of forwards we will have faced this year.
