Donegal county board shouldn't have been making any statements during week on location of ulster final, very disrespectful to Down GAA

Nonsense. What have Tyrone to gain from playing at Derry's centre of excellence

Hi totalrecall: Well spotted, bad decision whoever came out with that, ammo for Down. Should have been along the lines of "we are in a semi final and we are not looking beyond that"

County board 100% right in letting ulster council know that they favour clones. If we're worried about giving down ammo we shudnt be thinking of winning all Ireland. Alot of silly talk about nothing

Na this is nonsense we are looking well beyond that - it's Sam or bust this year.

Safe travels all today again - looks like could be a wet day , hope it drys up.

Tricky assignment last week well negotiated- I thought we were fantastic first half and sucked up every Monaghan threw at us second half and upped the gears when needed. Don't think we ever looked like loosing that game.

I don't see the sense in flogging Murphy from the off today - we need him for bigger days ahead. Although who I am to question the glenties/Fintown messiah.

Don't see how Down can get close to us today - we are far superior all round with talent, monsters around the middle , pace to burn and shooters from all over the park.

Should be 8+ point victory with a beast to come in the next game having lost game after game to us and indeed back to back ulster final defeats……..

That's the kind of mindset that has let your club down in the past. Taking teams for granted.

Scoreline flattered us. Very poor performance over all. Gallen poor again. Patton the reason we didn't throw it away. Our lack of goals is going to kill us in my opinion.

Poor performance yes but scoreline did not flatter us at all - we still could a win that by 10+, we were never in any danger

Hard to know what to make of that performance today. Some very good moments and phases of play but the electric levels of play we saw in stages against Derry and even Armagh in the league was absent, as it was somewhat the last day against Monaghan but more absent today. We are open enough, lacking in major intensity but hopefully it's all part of a clever man's wider strategy. Very pleased to win and well done to the lads, major test ahead though now.

Absolutely brilliant again today - kicking , good under high ball , unreal 1 on 1 save and kicking a 45.

We are lucky to have him and thankfully big ginger and Maxi got him involved in gaa again way back in 2014…..

Blessed to have him at club and county.

What do you mean? They had multiple goal chances and some misses u10s wouldn't miss. The blinkers are on if you're not worried after that. Armagh will be laughing.

Stad, we missed 3 goal chances ourselves and messed around with the ball for long periods that 2nd half, they had the handbrake up for a lot of it which don't get me wrong I didn't enjoy, but they will be a different team in 2 weeks. Of course some wayward shooting from Down as well and Armagh would take those chances. I'd rather a game like that today and calm a bit of the hype, just one to win and move on

Hoping we have a full deck to choose from

Scoreline flattered us? Are you for real? We were in second gear for most of the match and reacted to Down's scores whenever we needed to. The goals will come when they are needed.
Jim has to manage the team and substitutes were made at the correct time today. The bonus today is no more injuries. Roll on 2 weeks time.

Semi finals are about winning nothing else, hopefully th e media hype following donegal will dampen now, and among some supporters too. Some very excitable ones near me today and as with the monaghan game some very harsh criticism being directed at Gallen, oh what short memories some people have. Whether we won by 20 or 1 today the position would still have the same a final date with the all Ireland champions. It will be the ultimate test of this teams mettle, donegal will fancy their chances and so will armagh. I'm expecting a tense dour battle and a one point win will do!

Both teams had goal chances. Jim had to make 5 substitutes in the second half to rest players because there are lots of matches to come. We were never in any danger. I doubt if Armagh are laughing. They were lucky to survive themselves.

Our goal chances were half chances. Each one was the ring option. Daire and Aaron should have passed for their chances. Last week was the same. I just find it worrying to have back to back poor performances. Armagh will be tough. Why the fuck is it on a Saturday night?
