Meath v Wexford

1. Paddy O'Rourke

2. Donal Keogan
3. Kevin Reilly
4. Davy Dalton

5. Ciaran Lenehan
6. Bryan Menton
7. Seamus Kenny

8. Conor Gillespie
9. Brian Meade

10. Peader Byrne
11. Damien Carroll
12. Graham Reilly

13. Eamon Wallace
14. Micky Newman
15. Stephan Bray

Changing Burke and King from the last day. Don't feel either did anything drastically wrong but think the two lads coming in will better deal with the Wexford threat. Backs need to be tight the next day or we will be shot out of sight by half time.

Joe and Harnan are snapping at the heels of Carroll and Lenehan and I was very tempted to include them both but give the two lads another run out but nice to know it can be changed.

Make or break game here for me, if the team progresses and we beat Wexford then I think we are nicely set up for the summer. It will be a tough game but we have what it takes if we push on.

2 or 3 changes will have to be made especially in the half back line. By the way Dalton will still be out for this one I think.

Joe Sheridan at full forward surely! He's the most dangerous man to have in that area, more often than not if the ball goes into him he'll turn and pop it over/ stick it in the net or he'll be fouled, its a win-win

Hard to see Joe starting! Is this definitely set for Croker and if so is it a double header and with who?

RE: glenny
It'd be vey harsh to drop Peadar, himself and Reilly got through trogan work up and down the two flanks.

Hootervillan agree Peadar worked hard but himself and his marker (Wicklow No. 5) played seperate games. Wicklow No. 5 was loose for the whole game scored a point and brought a lot of pressure on to Meath backs.

Team for Wexford ;

Paddy
Keoghan
Reilly
Dalton if fit (if not Burke or King)
Harnon
Menton
Kenny
Meade
Gillespie
Gilsenan
Carroll
Biggy
Wallace
Bray
Newman

On the backs it is essential that Menton is restored to centre back (the 2 Wicklow midfielders and CHB came thru the centre too easily on Saturday and Menton is not suited to corner back).
Would give Carroll another chance to prove himself at 11.
Wallace and Gilsenan could interchange on same side of forward line as sometimes Wallace needs to drop deep to get a run at the defence.
Peadar and Joe as impact subs.

Do you live under a rock? Meath vs Wexford and Dublin vs Kildare is one of the best double headers there will be.

while there were positives to take from the wicklow match, it still baffles me how cian ward is not involved. need him in the full forward line.
