Who will win the Junior Championship?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Yeah I'd agree. It won't be long before Ratoath are senior. The current group of u-18, u-16 players will probably take them there. It's a bit early to call the winner yet but Curraha could take the honours.

Ratoath will have a job to go intermediate, never mind senior! Baby steps.
Curraha will win Junior I'd say

Agree with rath togh. Apart from one appearance in the Junior final in which we were well beaten by Moynalvey, we haven't looked like returning to Intermediate, let alone going to senior. And I don't think we've beaten any of the so called "stronger" Junior teams in that time either (which doesn't bode well for the group we're in this year).
Curraha for Junior this year.

Junior Club Competition

Anyone know when the Junior Season kicks off - if it hasn't already.

I haven't played for a few years but want to get back into it. Details on Simonstown Junior training would be most helpful..

You you look back at the last few years , Kilmainham , Dunsany and Curraha all stand out. . You would have to fancy one of these 3
Id go for Curraha as they havent got the baggage Dunsany have, Kilmainham are in Div 2 which would be a very high standard
so Id say its between these two teams, Bective as Dark Horses

Every year I hear Dunsany, Curragha, Rathoath are going to win the Junior and it never happens, the winners of the Junior 2012 are currently top of division 4

Write Dunsany off. Lost 6 out of 6 and from listening to them make excuses, it will be an early summer for them.

I wouldnt pass much remarks of Drumcondrath. When they play the top teams in the division like Moylagh and Curraha etc they will fall short.

According to some posters here, Rathmolyon should win both the junior and senior football championships, which would be quite an achievement for a club tht fields no football teams.....

Anyone know what has happened to Dunsany? Just took a peep at the league tables on the Meath page there and they are rock bottom with six losses from six games..

Read on another topic that Newman is going abroad, if this is true I would write off Kilmainham.

Are Drumbaragh up to much? And what about Cortown??

Bective and Ratoath are looking very strong. Both are doing reasonably well in Division 3. It's hard to judge though by the league, only when the Championship comes around will clubs have a full squad available.
