League and Leader Cup - 2 Like(s)
Should they not play the league and leader cup off before the championship gets under way. Very sickening for a team to be knocked out of championship and then turn around to still have to play another 2 or 3 league games and then train and wait for a leader cup. The way it's gone the leader cup means nothing now anyway!

Is Leinster Football Dead And Buried? - 2 Like(s)
I think this is a very unfair post. Would ye not think that maybe longford and carlow have put in good graft at underage over the years to come to this point. I dont think leinster is dead and buried at all. Look at kerrys domination in munster for years? I cant wait to play dublin and a lot of these longford lads have beaten a lot of the current dublin team in u21 in 2013. Outside of leinster i can guarantee you that longford dont fear playing anyone and carlow the same. We could have beaten donegal in ballybofey in the qualifiers last year only for kicking too many wides on the day, beat down and monaghan both away games in 2016 qualifiers and nearly took cork that year too. Beat mayo in 2010 and only lost by a point or 2 to kerry and tyrone a few years after that. Maybe its time some of ye moved with the times. We're not in the 80's, 90's or 00's anymore. This is 2018 change is good. Tradition stands for nothing. Carlow and longford rising.

I laugh at ye Kildare supporters, the most negative shower that's out there. It was a great game of football a joy to watch scores galore. Would ye rather watch the likes of fermanagh and donegal low scoring hand passing back and across the pitch. Sure dublin might give either of us a clipping but that's where ya want to be at giving them a rattle. They have to slip eventually. Last year we played with 14 men for 3/4 of the game and have to say we didn't put a bad showing in. Hopefully this year if we win the replay we can give it another good go

Longford 2020 - 2 Like(s)
That Laois game was there for the taking. Completely lost it ourselves on kickouts especially in the second half. Can we not find a man with a kickout or is it just kick it out as far as possible 50/50 or just kick it straight to a Laois man. Robbie smyth and Larry Moran should have been on far sooner some of the substitutions were mind boggling taking off Des Reynolds one of the only players actually driving at Laois and leaving on the 2 full forwards who did nothing all game and offered nothing! Not a bad year but these are games that we should be winning

Such a sickening result against Laois. Showed no fight at all. I think the management have to be questioned. Tactically we were very poor. I think we are struggling big time for backs. We have no pacey sticky corner backs which I think is killing us. We have no player to grab a game and turn it on its head like Paul barden did for years. We haven't reached a Leinster semi since the late 80s like come on how disappointing is that.

Replying To PK57: "It's near impossible to predict any results in this farce, as some counties will end up with B teams playing, as was the case in the Tommy Murphy days" I disagree I think it's a good opportunity. Sure what's the point in the drubbings that have been handed down by the likes of Kerry and Dublin to us weaker counties. There should be an incentive for the tier 2 however that if you win it you are placed into the all Ireland quarter finals or placed into it the following year like in the hurling. Look how Laois got on this year in hurling, were really competitive against Tipperary in the all Ireland quarters
