At the end of the day, if we can bring in a suitable replacement, it won't bother me. I would like to see a fresh face if they have the necessary experience. My concern is that we might hire a manager who isn't ready for the intercounty level, in which case we should stick with Donnelly. You might call this "fence-sitting," but I think it's being logical.
You seem to make a lot of assumptions about my opinion, which isn't the case. Just in case you had trouble understanding my comments, I'll outline them for you:
Donnelly should go if we have a suitable replacement. End of discussion."
It dose not matter who is brought in, the player pool and ability is not there.

I remember saying to a ref many moons ago, after a disputed point, that the lads he'd brought up as umpires, were only there for the feed, didn't go down well, as it was obvious they were not up to scratch

Fair play to the hurlers who have now gained a final spot in Div 3B, final, they await the winners of Leitrim / Longford.
Albeit with a small group to pick from, they have won all their games within the league. Moving up can only improve their creditability. Well done to the lads and management team.
